Hey there

You'll have to complete graduation for that and then only you can sit for UPSE civil services. Many students start preparing for UPSE from their graduation 1st year and so if UPSE is your goal you can start preparing from 1st year.

Check about UPSE civil services

What is the minimum cut off for the cse exam for ias if i belong to sc category?

rajaman9300 Student Expert 29th Sep, 2019

Hello Manish

If you consider last year cutoffs or last to last year then it was around 750 out of 1750 for SC category.

Each year it is somewhere between 725-760 only out of 1750 until and unless some rules or overall marks changes which is very rare.

All the best!!

Hello,

It's fine  if you are learning in your MBA then finish the degree. It's not good to leave anything or anywork in middle way.

On the part of IAS, there is no barrier for it. any person can give it after graduation. So you can do a better practice and apply for it. give your best in the exam and you will be able to clear it for sure if your are highly dedicated and you know how to make concepts strong.

Hope it helps!

if student score 72.5% marks in class 10th but he had not scored less % marks in class 12th can he or she will be able to give exam of IAS PCS?

Ashish Pal Student Expert 4th Oct, 2019

Hello dear aspirant.

There is no problem if your marks get decreased from 10th to 12th. What I am suggesting you is that you should focus on your preparation for prelim and mains examination. They need that you should passed intermediate exam and after that graduation also.

Ok good luck.

i am a pcm student of class 12 how can i apply for the admission in du for ba in order to become an ias

NILUTPOL Student Expert 2nd Nov, 2019
Hello,
Obviously yes! But there will be a disadvantage
of 2.5% from your aggregate percentage
calculated by taking best four of your subjects.
But if you have studied history as an optional
subject, as some of the schools or colleges
provide it then no marks will be deducted as
such.
Also you don't need to take admission into DU to prepare for IAS. you can take into any Institute and have some good coaching for IAS.
Hope it helps

I am currently doing BTECH IT from Jammu university and frankly speaking i dont know anything much about it. So i am confused between two things whether i should Go to abroad or should stay in india to prepare for UPSC CIVIL SERVICES EXAM . Pls suggest me the right path where should i go..

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 2nd Nov, 2019

Hello,

You are studying IT then you have 3 different ways to make your career out.

1st one is:- studying UPSC and going for civil works. yes you can do and serve India. You have to give exams and qualify it with good marks. There is also physical pain, mental stress in it and being dutifull is important.

2nd one is :- Doing MS in aboard. for that you have to do research in any field you feel interested and suitable. your research paper should be published in publishing organisations like IEEE then apply and qualifying it by passing all the selection levels then you can go for the research and invent new techs and tools for future.

3rd on is :- doing a job in any TOP MNCs. you can take part in placement and do your job in different position and it needs you to be expertise in Information Technology as you will all those concepts there. for top MNC like Google,Microsoft and any other company there will be only coding interview levels. so there is noting to do with aptitdue and logical. if you look for service providing company then you will need these and learn these  to crack the written rounds.

these are ways. you choose what you want to do in your life. no one can guide you better than you.

Hope it helps!
