Yes, you should update your live photo during the correction window for SSC CGL if the quality of your previously approved picture was not good due to lighting issues.

Even if the initial photo was accepted through the SSC app, uploading a clearer and better-quality image can help avoid any potential problems during the final verification process.

The correction window allows you to make necessary changes, including uploading an improved live photograph. Ensure that the new photo meets the specified guidelines, such as proper lighting, background, and resolution requirements, to avoid any complications.

can i change state or ut of board in ssc cgl and mts form in correction windows time

Radhika Goyal 17th Aug, 2024

Hy,

Yes, in many cases, the correction windows for SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) and SSC MTS (Multi Tasking Staff) exams allow candidates to make changes to their application forms, including updates to personal details such as state or union territory (UT) information. However, the ability to make such changes depends on the specific rules and procedures set by the SSC for the particular exam cycle.

Steps to Change State/UT in SSC CGL or SSC MTS Form During Correction Window:

  1. Check Official Notification:

    • Review Guidelines: Before attempting any changes, check the official SSC notification or website for the specific guidelines on the correction window. This will provide you with detailed instructions and any restrictions.
  2. Log In to Your Account:

    • Access Your Form: Log in to the SSC official website using your credentials (application number and password) to access your application form.
  3. Navigate to Correction Window:

    • Find Correction Option: During the correction period, there will be an option to make corrections to your application form. Locate this option in the candidate dashboard.
  4. Make Changes:

    • Edit Details: Find the section where you need to change the state or UT. Enter the new details as required.
    • Review Changes: Carefully review the changes to ensure all details are accurate before finalizing.
  5. Submit Changes:

    • Save and Submit: After making the necessary changes, save and submit the updated application form. Ensure you receive a confirmation of the changes.
  6. Pay Additional Fees (If Applicable):

    • Fee Payment: Some changes might require additional fees. If applicable, make sure to pay any extra charges as directed by the SSC.
  7. Confirmation:

    • Receive Confirmation: After submission, you should receive a confirmation email or message indicating that your changes have been successfully made.

Important Points:

  • Correction Period: The correction window is typically open for a limited period. Make sure to complete all corrections before the deadline.
  • Verification: Changes in state or UT might affect your exam center selection or eligibility. Verify the impact of such changes with the SSC guidelines.
  • No Changes After Deadline: Once the correction window closes, you will not be able to make any further changes to your application.

Tanya Gupta 30th Jul, 2024

Hello,

Yes, you can apply for IBPS PO/Clerk/SSC CGL exams even if you cleared your backlog in graduation. However, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria, including the passing percentage and degree completion requirements. Clearing backlogs doesn't typically create issues, but:

· Check the exam notification for specific guidelines on backlog clearance.

· Verify your degree is recognized by the relevant authorities.

· Ensure your final year results are declared before the exam or interview dates.

· Be prepared to provide proof of backlog clearance and degree completion during document verification.

hope this helps,

Thank you

i want to go for the ssc cgl , so which ug course should i do which is easy and cheapest??

vaibhavi bhalsod 28th Jul, 2024

Hello student

Congratulations on your decision to prepare for SSC CGL!

For SSC CGL, you don't need a specific UG course, but having a degree is mandatory. Considering ease and affordability, here are some UG courses:

1. *BA (Bachelor of Arts)*: A popular choice, as it's relatively easy and affordable.

2. *BCom (Bachelor of Commerce)*: Another common option, suitable for those interested in commerce and management.

3. *BSc (Bachelor of Science)*: A good choice if you're interested in science subjects like physics, chemistry, or biology.

4. *BVoc (Bachelor of Vocation)*: A newer course focused on skill development and industry-specific training.

5. *Distance Education*: Consider distance education courses like BA, BCom, or BSc from reputable universities like IGNOU, DU SOL, or Annamalai University.

When choosing a course, consider the following factors:

- *Interest*: Pick a course that aligns with your interests.

- *Cost*: Compare fees among colleges and universities.

- *Duration*: Most UG courses are 3 years.

- *Recognition*: Ensure the course and institution are recognized by UGC or AICTE.

Remember, SSC CGL preparation requires dedication and focus. Choose a course that allows you to balance your studies and preparation.

I have 59 marks in maths in 12th, am i eligible to apply for jso in ssc cgl? can this one mark difference be neglected and what will happen if i am not eligible for this and still i apply for this, would my application be stopped or they will just make me eligible for other posts?

monag2673 26th Jul, 2024

In SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) exams, eligibility criteria are crucial for determining your application status and post allocation. Here’s what you need to know about applying for the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) position with 59 marks in Mathematics in 12th grade:

Eligibility for JSO Position:

  • Mathematics Requirement : The SSC CGL eligibility criteria for JSO typically require candidates to have at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the 12th grade level or a degree in Statistics. Your 59 marks, which fall just short of the 60% threshold, might affect your eligibility for this specific post.

What If You Apply Anyway?

  • Application Status : If you apply for the JSO post without meeting the eligibility criteria, your application for this post is likely to be rejected. SSC CGL applications are screened based on eligibility criteria, and if you do not meet them, you will not be considered for the JSO position.
  • Other Posts : However, if you do not qualify for the JSO role, your application might still be considered for other posts in SSC CGL for which you meet the eligibility criteria. Your overall application will be evaluated for other available positions.

Steps to Take:

  1. Verify Eligibility : Check the latest SSC CGL notification or contact SSC for specific eligibility details and any possible exceptions.
  2. Apply for Other Posts : Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for other posts in SSC CGL and select them accordingly in your application.

while you may be ineligible for the JSO post due to your 12th-grade marks, you can still apply for other positions within SSC CGL for which you meet the criteria. Ensure to verify all eligibility requirements before submitting your application.

hope this helps you!!

i completed my 4 year degree from 2015 to 209 and i have backlogs. Then i cleared my backlogs in 2020. For SSC CGL 2024, what should i enter in passing year column? 2019 or 2020. Note: I got my provisional certificate. In that certificate, passing year and month is given as November 2020.

Ishita 20th Aug, 2024

Hello Aspirant

You should enter 2020 as the passing year in the SSC CGL application form.

Here's why:

Completion of Degree: You completed all requirements for your degree, including clearing backlogs, in 2020.

Eligibility Criteria: The key is to have completed your degree before the eligibility cutoff date for SSC CGL.

Also, as you have mentioned, your scorecard has 2020 as the passing year, so you anyway will have to mention it as 2020 because the authorities cross-check all the documents.
