where is more competition in SSC CGL or SBI PO exam ?

aditya 2nd Apr, 2021

hello seemanain

I hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you  that it is difficul to say that which exam is more difficult and it can varies on opinion of different person. In my opinion difficulty is judged by number of factors like stages of exams(how many rounds), number of vacancies, number of appearing. If we judge difficulty on behalf of these things then SBI PO exam is more difficult because vacanies are very less whereas in the case of ssc cgl , vacancies do increase every year  due to which cutt off will also be low or vice versa.

Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future

Which is difficult SBI Po exam or SSC CGL exam ?

aditya 2nd Apr, 2021

hello seemanain081

I hope you are doing good. I would like to know you that SBI POexams are more diffcult than SSC CGL because reasoning section of SBI PO exams are more difficult and lengthy which is not in the case of ssc cgl exams.

Secondly number of vacanies in SBI PO exams are way more less than the number of vacanies available in SSC CGL exams.

Thirdly their is an interview round in SBI PO which is generally not happen in SSC CGL exam.

With contrast to your question, SSC CGL is long term process in which student afford mistake at any stage which also increases its difficulty level

If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :)

sbi po last year graduation chalt ka sar

Pankhuri Kumari 15th Mar, 2021
Hii!
Yes. As long as you fall under the age eligibility criteria of the exam, you can apply for it and your graduation year needs not to be recent. For SBI PO the age eligibility criteria is from 21 to 30 years of age. So, you can apply till you turn 30 years of age.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

I want to become a bank PO currently i am in 12th which UG course should i choose that will help me in the Exams like IBPS / SBI PO, is that BBA , B.com or something else.

Subhrajit Mukherjee 8th Mar, 2021

It doesn't matter course you choose as both are almost similar However if you are stuck for choice then go for B.com it has some aspects of banking that you could learn. And there is no direct route to become a bank manager. Once you graduate you can join a bank directly or by giving exams (preferably PO exam) and if promoted later you could go up to managerial positions.

I hope you got my point. All the very best for your future endeavors!

I have done results below 50% in secondary and higher secondary But there are 70% marks in graduation Will it have any effect on SBI PO SELECTION?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 27th Jan, 2021

Hello,

The eligibility criteria to be eligible to appear for SBI PO is that a candidate must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised board. There is no minimum percentage of marks to be scored. Candidates who are in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible but the results must be declared on or before the cut off date specified. The selection of candidates is done in 3 stages.

  • Stage 1: Preliminary Exam
  • Stage 2: Main Exam
  • Stage 3: Group Discussion and Interview

The final selection is based on combined marks scored in Stage 2 and Stage 3 of the selection. Stage 1 is just a qualifying exam. The marks scored in the qualifying examination that is graduation will not be given any weightage in any stage of the selection. So the merit is purely based in stage 2 and Stage 3 marks
