I have scored 99 percentile in JEE mains 2020 January attempt which college is expected that I will get

lubhan cherwoo 8th Mar, 2020
Hi,
It is difficult to evaluate the rank from the percentile as of now ,you can use this formula to estimate the rank - (100-your percentile)xnumber of students appearing in JEE/100
With a 99 percentile you can aim for NITs for ECE,EEE,MECH etc and try for IT and CSE in new NITs ,you can also go for JEE ADVANCED

i want to know about nimset and preparing for 2021

Hrisheekesh Singh 19th Feb, 2020

Hi Bibhas,

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is the national level entrance exam conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for taking admissions on merit basis to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme.

This exam works across the NITs located in Agartala, Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Calicut, Raipur, Warangal, Surathkal, Durgapur, Trichy, Jamshedpur, Bhopal and Kurukshetra.

The application form of NIMCET 2020 will be released soon through which the candidates can fill the form and appear in the entrance exam. NIMCET admit card will also be released to be downloaded by candidates. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and the result of the same will be declared on the official website of NIMCET 2020.

Total 809 seats are available and duration of exam is 2 hours.

NOTE:- NIMCET scores are used by many other universities and institutes for admissions to the MCA programmes offered by them.

You may refer to the source article for more information about NIMCET 2020 Exam.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!

Arpit pandey 24th Apr, 2019

The window for correction comes for a short while.

However,  if you have missed it too, its better to register all over again as there might be problems regarding your incomplete name in the examinations and admission procedures.

Good luck

If I manage to clear the cut of (in SC category) in Jee advanced..would I get any of IITs?

Akshay Kadam 21st May, 2018

Souvik Mondal now the criteria has been changed as around 50,000 students are shortlisted from the number of students appearing in JEE Advanced examination for the counselling round. The cut-off is based on the shortlisting of these candidates only. But problem is that in all the IITs the total number of seats are around 10,500 only so all the 50,000 candidates will not get admission in IITs.

Talking about your category there are around 1600 seats in all the IITs but the candidates shortlisted in your category for counselling are around 7500. As the cut-off in your category, last year was 60 marks so the candidate with 7500 marks would have got around 60 marks but there is no surety at all to get admission in IIT because the number of seats available are less.

So, in order to get admission in IITs, a student of any category needs to get a very high rank.

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!

Ankur Sehgal 14th Feb, 2018

Hey,

Yes, you are eligible for RBB technician post. There are two posts in RBB as a technician -: Technician Grade III Signal and Technician Grade III Telecommunication.

•The only eligibility criteria to apply for this post is that you must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry, and Mathematics.

Well, as you are an engineering graduate, you can apply for other posts in Indian Railways also.
