sir my aim to crack nda so i choose arts because my interest in history geography . my subjects is... english, history, geography, maths plz tell me what i choose as my 5 subject economic or political science which help me to crack nda

shivanipundir145 9th Jun, 2022
Hello aspirant ,

I want you to know that you have already made good choice of the subjects for your preparation for NDA exam.

Now if you are confused between choosing economics and political science, so you must go for political science.

Though this is not any specific subject for NDA Exam. But this forms the most of the part of modern history. The marks alloted for history are 80. So apart from studying history , if you also study political science this is going to surely benifit you. Plus this subject is easy to grasp with complete relevance in modern times too.

Economics too is a good subject but as per the marks distribution for NDA it doesn't hold much marks.

The marks distribution for two basic exams are ;

1). Maths - 120 questions of 300 marks.

2). General knowledge - 150 questions of 600 marks.

It includes subjects like-

1). English - 50 questions of 200 marks

2). History - 80 marks

3). Geography - 80 marks

4). Science(physics , chemistry , biology) - 200 marks

5). Current affairs - 40 marks

So buckle up and best of luck for your future endeavours.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 27th Apr, 2022

Hello,

The age limit at the time of commencement of NDA course is 16.5 to 19.5 years. Considering the given date of birth you will be eligible to apply for NDA 1 2022, NDA 2, 2022. So you have two attempts left provided you must have passed or appearing in 10+2 examination at the time of filling NDA application and you must have applied for NDA 1 2022 because the application for NDA 1 2022 is closed. If you haven't applied for NDA 1 2022 then you have only one attempt left. If you have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 level you are eligible to select Indian Navy Academy, Indian Air Force Academy and Indian Military Academy. If you haven't studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 level but passed from any other stream then you are eligible to apply for Indian Military Academy only.

how can i join indian air force after 10+2 PCM excluding NDA XandY

shivanipundir145 7th Jun, 2022
Hello aspirant ,

There are many other ways excluding  NDA And Airforce X and Y for  joining Airforce.

For  the rank of commisioned officers  following exams are conducted:
1). CDSE
2). AFCAT
3). NCC ENTRY
4). METEOROLOGICAL ENTRY

For Non - Commisioned officers-
1) Airforce offline Rally Bharti

All of these exams have different eligibility criteria.
Let's talk about them one by one.

1). CDSE - CDSE which means Combined Defense Service Examination is an exam meant for selecting candidates for all the three wings i.e. Army, Navy and Airforce.CDSE is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice an year.
For CDSE you must be a graduate at least (BA,BSC, B.Com, B.Tech etc.) Or you can also fill the exam while your last year of graduation.

CDSE makes a way for the young boys to join the IAF for the Flying course only.
For CDSE the age limit for the Indian Air force is  19-23 years.

2). AFCAT -  Air Force Common Admission Test is a test which is taken to select young boys and girls for Airforce . AFCAT is conducted by the Indian Airforce twice an year.

AFCAT1 is conducted in the last week of February and AFCAT2 in the last week of August.

For AFCAT you must be a graduate at least (BA, B.Com, B.Tech etc.) further qualification depends on the type of service you want to join .

For AFCAT the age depends on the course you want to join. Age limit is:

3). NCC ENTRY -  Must have ' A ' or B' in c certificate for ncc entry.
This entry would give you direct access to AFSB.

Also  they must have maths and physics in graduation.
