Hello aspirant!
If you’re truly passionate about becoming an IAS officer you will surely be able to convince them for the same.
More often than not our parents are concerned because they want us to be secure and giving upsc cse can sometimes be a gamble.
However, so is NDA!
You need to sit them down and explain why you want what you want and that at the end of the day it is your life and you have to live it.
All the best for all your future pursuits!
Feel free to ask more questions and queries.
Hi Nancy,
I do understand your and your parent's concern. I would want you to let them know and make them understand what you have planned for your future and how you would be implementing it in reality. You are the answer to your question and you have to convince your parents regarding the same. Sit with them and explain them thoroughly because it is something related to your future.
I wish for a better future for you.
Hello!
Yes, after clearing NDA exam, candidates have to go through Physical/Medical Test. Physical test is conducted only for candidates who have been shortlisted by SSB.
The second part of your answer is a bit unclear. I'm assuming you want to what are the conditions required or to be precise, the procedure of the physical test.
So these are some of the medical tests conducted by the board - b lood test, urine test, chest x-ray, e ar, nose & tongue(ENT) test, eye check up, dental check up, general medical test like height, weight, blood pressure, heartbeat, and s urgical examination.
Hope this answers your query.
