According to the official notice released for NDA 2023, this is the age limit for NDA 1 2023 - NDA 1 2023 age limit is 16.5 to 19.5 years
Since your DOB is 1 July 2004, you are 18 years, 2 months, and 2 days old. Hence, you are eligible for NDA 1 2023 since you fall under the bracket of age limit set by NDA.

No,to appear in NDA for army wing mathematics is not compulsory. It is clearly mentioned that for army applicants should have passed or appearing 10+2 or any equivalent recognised state board or University examination .
But for Air force and Navy 10+2 with PCM is mandatory.
Applicants has to also meet other eligibility criteria as follows:

Physical standard
Nationality

Considering the date of birth criteria you are nt eligible to apply fr NDA 1 2023 as you are born earlier than July 2, 2004. Your last chance to appear is NDA 2, 2022.

According to UPSC's prescribed syllabus for NDA, the examination will be conducted for two papers: Mathematics and General Ability.
The Mathematics paper contains 300 marks while the general ability test holds 600 marks. Hence the written test combined will be 900 marks.
For mathematics you need to study Algebra, Trigonometry, Differential Calculus, Vector Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Analytical and 2D and 3D geometry, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Statistics and Probability.
Total Marks: 300 Marks
Total number of questions: 120
Negative Marks: -0. 85 for each wrong answer
Duration: 2.5 hours
For General Ability:
English, General Knowledge, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography, Current Affairs.
Total Marks: 600 Marks
Total Number of questions: 150
Number of questions in GK- 100
Number of questions in English-50
Negative Marks- 1. 33 Marks
The National Defense Academy, formally known as NDA is the Joint Service Academy for the Indian Armed Forces. Cadets of three armed services including the Army, Navy, and Air Force are trained together in the academy, before moving forward with the pre-commissioning training. Admissions to the academy are accepted via a written examination conducted by UPSC, followed by an extensive interview conducted by SSB. Finally, a medical test to keep a check on the candidate’s overall health and physical fitness.

Hope you are doing great. Your date of birth for NDA I in 2022 should fall between July 2, 2003, and July 1, 2006. The DOB should fall within the range of January 2, 2004, and January 1, 2007, for NDA II. In order to be eligible for the exam, candidates must be between the ages of 16.5 and 19.5. Male candidates who are married or who are female are ineligible to apply for the NDA Exam.

• First of all you must get yourself acquainted with Exam pattern. The examination is conducted for two subjects.
--- Total Number of questions asked in Maths are 120 and Maximum Marks are 300.
--- While General Ability Test jas 150 question for 600 marks.
Duration of both papers is 150 minutes.
• NDA written exam has two subjects - mathematics and general ability test. The questions asked in the NDA exam are from these to subjects. So you must prepare the topics from these subjects very clearly.
