You have mixed up 2 things together - 1 is whether you want to crack NDA and you want to know the eligibility and other related knowledge and second is that you do not want to take NDA and want to take admission in some govt. college. 

So,

If you are In class 12th Then I would recommend You to appear for NDA exam, to become Officer in the Indian Army. NDA is organized twice a year first in the Month of April and other in the Month of September.

NDA is conducted by UPSC and it mainly helds in the capital of states and in the union Territories.

As you are from Tripura the exam of NDA will be held in your state's capital i.e; Agartala.
