Hello!

The Union Public Service Commission prescribes age limit forn appearing in NDA exam as 16.5 to 19.5 years. You can have an idea from this year's eligibility criteria of NDA exam regarding age. As per the UPSC regulations, applicants born between June 2, 2003, to July 1, 2006, can apply online for the National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) 2022 exam. Those belonging to the reserved category are eligible for NDA age relaxation as per the rules set by the UPSC.

The only thing I can say is that please donot listen to others and look up in the official website to get the correct information.

Hope this answers your question.

My date of birth is 1 MAY 2004. Am I eligible for NDA 2023 or TES 2023 ?

Ashfeen Ansari 7th Aug, 2022

Hii,

I hope you are doing great!!

The NDA examination is held in two phases. Both of them has different eligibilty criteria.

The age eligibility criteria for both the exams is as follow:

  • To appear for NDA 1 a candidate should not be born before  2 july 2004 and after 1 july 2007.
  • To appear for NDA 2 a candidate should not be born before 2 january 2005 and after 1 January 2008.

The age eligibilty criteria for TES exam 2023 is

  • A candidate must not not be born before 1 January 2005 and after 1 january 2008.

As your DOB is 1 May 2004 you are not eligible for both the examination in 2023.

I Hope this helps.
