Hello Dharmedra!
IBPS or Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is the body that recruites employees for banks of public sector. One such post is IBPS PO where PO stands for Prohibitory Officer.
Now, coming to question, whether the job is government or private, bank employes, be it state bank or any other public sector bank - are not considered as government officers. The government do regulate the public sector bank however, the employees are not regarded as government employees but just the employee of that particular bank.
Hope this solved your doubt!
Hello,
Indian Railways declare lakhs of employment for graduates, 10+2 and candidates for the math proficiency pass every year. RRBs are required to employ all Group C (Technical and Non-Technical) vacancies with the responsibility of conducting recruitment. RRCs are entrusted with the task of administering Group D recruiting tests. There are 21 RRBs and 16 RRCs in total. The Civil Services and Engineering Services Exam (ESE) conducts recruitment to Category A and B positions in Indian Railways. IBPS PO's greatest advantage is that it serves as the screening mechanism for most Indian banks, though SBI PO is only considered to be the State Bank of India. Nonetheless, applicants who pass the SBI PO exam are given a better starting salary.

Hi,
You must not give in to this pressure. Don't worry. You should definitely put in all your efforts and hard work and appear for the exam. Even if you don't get satisfactory results, work harder and smarter. Learn from your mistake and don't stop untill you have achieved your goal.
If I say any more, you may think that I am a random motivational speaker but that is not the case. It does't matter if you have passed from a random college and never think that you have not done anything significant.
You have your age on your side and utilize it. A large portionn of Indian youth are unemployed and those who are employed, of them, a lot do not enjoy the work they do. But that is not the point.
I think you should put in your bet efforts. You still have time to prepare for the Prelims and I think if you chalk out a plan and strategize like playing to your strengths, you will definitely accomplish your goals.
And if you fail, well what better way to learn ? Don't feel low, go for a walk or take some rest. After refreshing your mind, put in all your efforts and concentration, and I think you will definitely succeed!
