Does the cutoff for ibps clerk will be differnt statewise ? and wat about cutoff for telangana state?

Hello!

To answer your question, Yes, the cutoff of IBPS clerk differs statewise. The cutoff is released statewise and category wise, differing for general, backward classes, SC and STs.

The cutoff for Telangana last year was around 43.

@chaithanya: For general category 7-8 is the expected score in English section. And for reserved categories 4-5 marks is teh expected score. Hope this clears your doubt.

@Yashmita: An old saying- Practice is the key. Attempt mock test, but Don't forget to analyse them. Also try to attempt more than 60 questions to get selected in IBPS exam. The speed and accuracy can be developed through your practice in mocks. Hope

Does mocks and test series really important for ibps preparation? i mean cant i just study from notes?

You can't say that mock papers are very important for IBPS exam but yes, it will definitely help you to score good marks. As we all are aware of the phrase that: "Practice makes a man perfect" and test series is a way to get acknowledge yourself as well as to do practice. So if you give time to test series then you will get better marks. However notes is also important but the thing is after completing notes and getting all the concepts clearly, you can solve test series at last.
