CSIR UGC Test for JRF and Eligibility for Lectureship

Firstly CSIR NET is mainly for science subjects such as mathematical science/chemical science/earth science/biological science/physical science, the eligibility criteria for CSIR NET is passed BTech/BPharm/BS degree of four years/Integrated MSc or BS-MS securing 55% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, in case of JRF the upper age limit is 28 years, there is relaxation of five years for five years for OBC/SC/ST/Transgender/Women candidates, in case of lectureship there is no upper age limit.
so to answer your question you can go for any subject selection or degree choice as per the eligibility criteria laid out by CSIR NET, if you want to go for integrated MSc then you may choose any field such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology/life science to name a few,

For getting scholarship in net jrf is to qualify the UGC NET exam. The eligibility of appearing UGC NET candidate has to secure at least 55% marks in post graduation level. Stipends are paid after qualifying in UGC NET exam which is of hundred marks and of 50 questions 2 marks for every questions and answer for 0. Typing speed after qualifying UGC net is 30 rupees 31000 for the positive two years and 35000 for the remaining three years.for the humanities and social sciences 29c amount is 10000 for the for the consecutive two years and 20500 for the last 3 years.
