National Seeds Corporation Limited (NSCL) conducts National Seeds Corporation Management Trainee exam in offline mode for recruiting eligible candidates at the posts of Management Trainee, Senior Trainees, Diploma Trainees, Trainees and Trainee Mate. Candidates for all these posts have to appear in a written examination. Management Trainees have to further appear in interview and document verification after the written examination, while candidates applying for the posts of Senior Trainees, Diploma Trainees, Trainees and Trainee Mate have to get their documents verified directly after the written exam. This means that there is no interview for all the posts (except Management Trainees). Selection of Management Trainees is done based on candidates marks in written exam and interview. Selection of candidates for the posts of Senior Trainees, Diploma Trainees, Trainees and Trainee Mate is done based on their marks in written examination given that their document/certificates are verified.

NSC Management Trainee Application Form
Candidates can fill the application form of NSC Management Trainee in online mode by visiting the official site. Post registration, candidates have to enter certain details related to educational background, personal, parents and communication address. Apart from filling these details, candidates have to upload their recent coloured photograph, signature and attested/self attested photocopies of their certificates/testimonials as per the required format and size. Candidates can apply for only one post (in individual Group - I, II, III, IV) however, candidates who are applying for the posts of Management Trainee/ Trainee / Trainee (Mate) are eligible to also apply for Sr. Trainee/Diploma Trainee post or vice-versa. After entering all the details, candidates must check again if all the particulars entered by them are correct by using the preview option.
Open category or unreserved category/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidates have to pay Rs. 525 (application fee of Rs. 500 plus Rs. 25 processing fee) plus payment gateway charges. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories need not to pay the application fee, but have to pay Rs. 25 as processing fee along with the payment gateway charges on actual. The fee can be paid online via net banking/credit/debit card. Reserved category/disabled candidates also have to upload a photocopy the caste/disability certificate by a competent authority, Govt. of India.

There is only one written (offline) exam for all posts of NSC Management Trainee Exam. The paper will have 100 questions which need to be completed in 2 hours. There will be 2 sections in the paper – Section A and B. Section A would have 70 multiple choice questions, while section B would have 30 questions, except the paper for Trainee Mate (Agriculture) which has only 1 section. Each correct answer would fetch 1 mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Candidates can apply for only one post (in individual Group i.e I, II, III, IV) but candidates applying for Management Trainee/Trainee/Trainee (Mate) posts can also apply for Sr. Trainee/Diploma Trainee post or vice-versa as the written exam is held in two shifts.

NSC Management Trainee Admit Card
The admit card can be downloaded in online mode. Candidates have to enter the required credentials to download the admit card. Without producing the admit card at the examination centre, candidates will not be allowed to take the examination. Along with the admit card, the following photo ID proofs are also required. After downloading the admit card, candidates must ensure that all the details on it are correct. In case of any mistake, the candidates must get the rectification done by the examination authority. Post downloading, candidates must take printout of the admit card.

NSC Management Trainee Answer Key
The answer key of NSC Management Trainee can be released anytime after the exam is over. NSC Management Trainee answer key will be available on the official website, separately for each post the candidates have opted for. With the help of NSC Management Trainee answer key, candidates must check their answers and calculate their scores. In case, they are certain that there is some discrepancy in the answer key, candidates can send their objections against the particular questions with the documentary proof and the required fee par question. The objections will be examined by the expert committee and a final answer key will be released. The result of NSC Management Trainee exam would be based on the final answer key.
NSC Management Trainee Result – Written Examination
The result of NSC Management Trainee examination for the written test will be declared in online mode. Candidates have to log int the result window to know their marks in the written examination. In order to check their NSC Management Trainee Result, candidates have to enter their roll number and date of birth. Along with the result announcement, candidates can also download their score card. The exam conducting authority also releases a list of qualified candidates in the written exam who are shortlisted for appearing in the interview. The result will be released separately for each post. As per the qualifying criteria of NSC Management Trainee, candidates need to secure at least 35 marks out of 100 to be considered for the next stage of the recruitment.
NSC Management Trainee Result– Interview
The result of the candidates appeared in the interview will also be released in the form of PDF wherein the category, roll number and name of the candidates along with the qualifying cut off marks would reflect. Candidates reflecting in the merit list or result PDF have to confirm their participation in the further process of document verification through a mail to the examination authority.
NSC Management Trainee Result – Document Verification
Candidates qualified in the interview process would be called for document verification. In this process too, the roll number, category, name and qualifying cut off marks of the candidates would be reflected in the Document Verification result. Post the successful document verification, candidates have to appear for a medical examination wherein they have to par Rs. 1000 for the process.
NSC Management Trainee Cut off
There are two types of cut-off for NSC Management Trainee. One is the minimum qualifying marks which candidates must secure in order to be considered for the further procedure of the recruitment. As per the qualifying criteria of NSC Management Trainee, candidates need to secure at least 35 marks out of 100 irrespective of the post they have applied for.
Apart from this, category-wise shortlisting cut off is also released with the result of NSC Management Trainee. Each candidate shortlisted for the interview and document verification has to secure the category-wise and post-wise cut off of NSC Management Trainee Result.
NSC Management Trainee Selection Procedure
Selection process of NSC Management Trainee includes appearing in stage I – written examination, stage II – interview and document verification, and stage III – document verification. It must be noted that candidates appearing for the post of Management Trainee would have to appear in the interview and document verification (at stage II) based on their merit in the written examination. For candidates, who apply for Senior Trainee/Diploma Trainee, Trainee and Trainee Mate, there is no interview. This means that at stage II of the recruitment process, these candidates have to go through the document verification process directly. The document verification for these posts at stage II would be determined by their merit in stage I written examination. The final selection of the candidates applied for Management Trainee posts would be based on the combined marks of the candidates in both the written examination and the interview, subject to the successful document verification. The final selection of the candidates for the post of Senior Trainee/Diploma Trainee, Trainee and Trainee Mate would be determined only on the basis of the marks scored in the written exam, subject to successful document verification. For preparing the merit list, the weightage given to the written examination is 70% and for the interview is 30%. After the document verification, candidates have to undergo a medical test by paying a certain amount.
