APPSC Group 4 2024 - Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) invites online application forms for the recruitment of Group-IV Services (Junior Accountants in Treasures & Accounts Subordinate Service and Junior Assistants in APMS). Candidates required to fill the online application form of APPSC Group 4 before the last date. However, it is important that candidates read the eligibility criteria of APPSC Group 4 exam and then only proceed to fill the online application form. Candidates should appear in the written exam (objective type) to get the eligibility for appointment to the Group-IV posts. 

The exam is conducted according to the prescribed exam pattern of APPSC Group 4 examination. Candidates required to answer questions based on the syllabus of APPSC Group 4. The APPSC group 4 exam is divided into two papers -  Paper 1 (General Studies) and Paper 2 (Secretarial Abilities). The final selection of candidates is made on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination.

APPSC Group 4 Eligibility Criteria 2024:

Age Limit: Candidates should have a minimum of 18 years of age and a maximum of 42 years of age.  

Age Relaxation:

  • Retrenched temporary employees in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months – 3 years

  • Andhra Pradesh State Government Employees – 5 years

  • NCC Instructor – 3 years

  • SC/ST & BC – 5 years

  • Physically Handicapped Persons (PwD) – 10 years

  • Ex-Servicemen – 3 years

Educational Qualification: He/She must have passed the Intermediate examination conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent.

  • For Junior Accountants post – Candidates should have passed in Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Examination or Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) or BSc/B.Com/BA(Computer Science) or B.Tech/BE with Computer Science or Information Technology.

APPSC Group 4 Application Details:

  • Step-1: Before filling the online application form, candidates have to pay the application fee.

  • Application Fee: 

    • Processing Fee - Rs.250 and Exam Fee - Rs.80

    • Exam Fee exempted categories -  

      • SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Servicemen

      • Unemployed youth in the age group of 18 to 42

      • Families having Household Supply White Card issued by Civil Supplies Department, Andhra Pradesh

  • Payment Mode: Net Banking/Credit card/Debit Card.

  • First candidates need to fill the basic personal details at the payment gateway without any mistakes,

    • Name

    • Gender

    • Father Name

    • Mother Name

    • Community

  • After the successful completion of application fee payment, Journal number is issued to the candidates.

  • Step-2: Online Application Form:

    • Candidates should open the online application form link available on the website.

    • Then fill up the following details in the online application form to proceed further.

      • Journal Number

      • Date of Payment

      • Date of Birth

    • Click on the ‘submit’ button to complete the online application form process.

  • Step-3: Upload Photograph and Signature:

    • Candidates should have the scanned images of passport size photo and sign in the prescribed format.

    • Then upload the photograph and signature to the website.

APPSC Group 4 2022 Exam Pattern for Paper 1:

  • The Paper-1 consists of written exam (objective type).
  • There are totally 150 questions (150 marks).
  • For each wrong answer, 1/3rd of the marks will be penalized.

                            APPSC Group 4 Hall Ticket 2024: Hall ticket for APPSC group 4 examination can be downloaded seven days before the date of examination. Candidates can download their hall ticket by using the User ID and Password. If the candidate noticed any discrepancy printed on the APPSC Group 4 hall ticket, they need to immediately bring to the notice of Chief Superintendent in the exam centre. Then the necessary corrections can be made by the Commission’s Office. 

                            APPSC Group 4 Answer Key 2024: The Commission publishes the answer key on its website, after conduction of the exam. APPSC group 4 answer key contains the correct answers to all the questions asked in the examination. Any objections with regard to the key can be filed within 7 days of the publication of the key on the Commission website. The objections are examined and the Commission decision in this regard shall be final. Any objection filed after expiry of one week from the date of publication of key is not be entertained by APPSC.

                            APPSC Group 4 Result 2024: The marks of the candidates who appear in the written exam are uploaded on the website. Candidates can view their marks by using User ID and Password. APPSC Group 4 Result is expected to be released within one or two months after the completion of the main examination.

                            APPSC Group 4 Cut Off 2024: APPSC Group 4 cut off 2024 are released by the commission. APPSC Group 4 cut off is the minimum marks required to qualify for the main written examination.  The cutoff marks of written exam are decided on the basis of factors including difficulty level of question paper and past year cut off trends.

                            APPSC Group 4 Selection Procedure 2024:

                            • A screening test is conducted as per the scheduled. Based on the merit list of the screening test, candidates are selected in the ratio of 50 per one notified post for the main examination in order of general merit.

                            • In case no screening test, candidates are allowed to appear for the main examination directly.

                            • The final selection of candidates for appointment to the posts is based on the merit in the computer-based main exam.

                            • Finally, certificate verification is done for the selected candidates.

                            The criteria is intermediate qualification, not degree.
                            • For group 4, the criteria for eligibility is that you should have completed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from the A.P. state board.
                            • The age should be between 18 to 36 years old. Relaxation would be given as per the rules for reserved candidates.
                            • Selection for group 4 will be based on written examination and document verification.
