IBPS Bank List - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) releases the list of IBPS banks along with its notification for various exams. Candidates must go through the IBPS bank list to select a bank as per their preference. IBPS conducts the IBPS exams for various PO, Clerk, Specialist Officer & RRB posts.These exams are conducted to recruit candidates at various posts in almost 20 Participating Banks in IBPS. The IBPS bank list contains the names of all the banks. While filling the application form, candidates can select the desired banks from the IBPs bank list and fill in the order of their preference. IBPS recruits candidates at various participatory banks of the IBPS Bank list through the following exams:

  1. IBPS PO (Probationary Officers)

The participatory bank list of IBPS consists of Public Sector Banks, Private Banks, Co-operative Banks, Insurance Sector, Central Financial Institutions, Other Public/Private Sector Undertaking and Govt Departments, and Regional Rural Banks. How to select preferred bank from the IBPS bank list ?

While selecting the preferred banks, candidates must keep the certain things in mind, like location, vacancies in each bank, work environment, growth perspective etc. More the number of vacancies, more chances will be there for being selected since more vacancies mean lower cut off.

Allotment of the Participatory Organisation

To choose the bank, candidates will have to fill their preferences while filling the application form as per their preference order. The allotment of banks will however be done on the merit cum preference basis.

1. Will the bank be allotted on its own or do I have to choose as per my wish?

You will be able to select the bank as per your preference while filling the IBPS application form.

2. Will I get placed in the city in which I choose my exam centre while taking the IBPS Clerk exam?

Appearing for the exam at IBPS Clerk exam centres does not make any difference with the place of your allotment. These are two different things. The bank will be allotted on the merit cum preference basis.

3. Will I be able to know the bank allotted to me in the IBPS PO result itself?

No, the IBPS PO  result will mention only your marks and the qualifying status. You will be able to know the IBPS bank allotted to you only after the provisions; allotment list is out.

4. Where can I find the IBPS Bank list of the participatory organisations?

You will be able to find the list of IBPS banks in the exam notification which will be released for all the posts separately as and when scheduled.
