LIC AAO 2018: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is expected to conduct LIC AAO 2018 for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist). Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of online exam followed by a personal interview and a medical fitness checkup. The application form of LIC AAO 2018 will be available in online mode. Candidates should be between 21 to 30 years of age to apply for LIC AAO 2018. There were some fake news reports which claimed that the registration of LIC AAO 2018 will begin from July 25 and the notification is out. However, candidates are advised not to trust these rumours.

The online examination will be of 160 objective type questions carrying total marks of 300. Candidates must pass in each section separately and should secure minimum marks in aggregate to qualify in LIC AAO exam and get shortlisted for the interview round. The minimum qualifying cut off of LIC AAO will be decided by LIC. The result of LIC AAO 2018 will be declared in December for categories in online mode. LIC AAO Application Form 2018

The application form for LIC AAO will be available in online mode.

Pre-requisites of Registration:

  • Scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

  • A valid personal email ID and mobile number

The application form of LIC AAO will be available online only. Candidates can fill the application form in multiple steps as given below:

 

Step 1: Registration – Candidates must click on ‘Click here for New Registration’ and enter their name, contact details and email ID. A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate must note down the provisional registration number and password. Registration number and Password will also be sent to the registered email ID and SMS.

Step 2: Entering personal details – In this step, candidates are advised to fill all the basic details. Candidates must note that the name of the candidate, name of their father/ husband etc should be the same as Certificates/ Mark sheets. No changes in the details will be allowed after final submission.

Step 3: Previewing details – To check all details before final submission, candidates must click on the ‘Preview Tab’ to verify and modify the details entered in the application form.

Step 4: Uploading of Photograph and Signature - There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature. Click on the respective link "Upload Photograph / Signature".

Step 5: Payment of application fees - The application fees of LIC AAO can be paid online using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

Step 6: Printout of online application and e-receipt: After payment, candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online LIC AAO application

form. However, if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not have been successful. Candidates are advised to login again repeat the process of payment.

 

LIC AAO Eligibility 2018

The eligibility criteria of LIC AAO 2018 has been prescribed by the examination authority. Candidates have to fulfil the eligibility requirements in order to appear for the recruitment exam and get selected the AAO post. The eligibility conditions as per the previous years are given below:

Age Limit: The minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and the maximum should be 30 years.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor/Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/ Institution.

LIC AAO Eligibility for PWD candidates:

Candidates who are visually impaired suffering from not less than 40% of disability may opt to view the contents of the test in magnified font and all such candidates will be given a compensatory time of 20 minutes for every hour in the examination.

LIC AAO Admit Card 2018

The admit card of LIC AAO will be issued two weeks prior to the online examination. The admit card will only be available online. Candidates must download the admit card before the exam and should carry a hard copy of the admit card. It contains details on test venue, personal details and other important details.

The LIC AAO 2018 call letter contains information such as exam date, exam centres, personal details and other relevant details.

LIC AAO admit card will contain the following details:

Interview: Interview round of LIC AAO will be held after the declaration of result. Candidates will be called for interview as per their ranking in their respective category. However, candidates have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks as decided by LIC. The number of candidates to be called for interview will be about three times the number of vacancies to be filled in subject to availability of successful candidates in the online examination and as per their ranking in their respective category. 

Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination and if found medically fit, will be offered the appointment letter.

LIC AAO Cut Off 2018

The cut off of LIC AAO 2018 will be declared as sectional and overall cut off. The minimum marks to be obtained in each Section and in the aggregate shall be decided by LIC. LIC AAO Result 2018 

The result of LIC AAO will be declared for the offline test and interview round. Candidate must pass in each section separately in the online and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the interview. The scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions will be normalized using equi -percentile equating method.

LIC AAO Selection Procedure 2018 

The selection process of LIC AAO starts with the registration. Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the exam followed by a personal interview of shortlisted candidates and subsequent pre-recruitment medical examination. Check the stages of LIC AAO selection procedure from below: Registration: Candidates have to first apply for LIC AAO. The application process of LIC AAO is online and only those candidates will be selected who successfully completes the registration process with the specified timeline. 

Online Test: LIC will conduct an online test containing objective type test from five sections - Reasoning Ability Test, Quantitative Aptitude Test, General Knowledge, Current Affairs Test, Computer Knowledge Test and English Language Test. Candidates must secure the sectional and overall marks to be eligible for interview. Marks of the English language will not be counted for ranking. Interview: Candidates will be called for Interview on the basis of the rank obtained in the online exam. The number of candidates to be called for interview will be 3 times the number of vacancies. Documents required for Interview:

  • System generated printout of the online application

  • Receipt of fee

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Medical examination: The shortlisted candidates in the interview will be called for the medical examination. Only those candidates found medically fit will be provided an appointment. 

Final Allotment: Candidates on the basis of their marks in the interview and online exam subjected to fulfilling the medical criteria will be provided letter of appointment. LIC AAO Pay ScaleSelected candidates will get the basic pay of Rs. 17240 per month in the scale of Rs. 17240- 840(14) –29000– 910(4) –32640 (Under Revision).Allowances and Benefits:

  • House Rent Allowance & City Compensatory Allowance Rs 40,245 per month in ‘A’ Class city.

  • Other benefits are Defined Contributory Pension, Special Allowance for passing Actuarial Examination, Gratuity, LTC, Cash Medical Benefit, Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Group Insurance , Vehicle Loan (2- wheeler/4 wheeler) as per rules.

Probation period: The candidates will be in a probationary period of one year extendable up to 2 years.

Guarantee Bond: Before the probation period, candidates will be required to sign a bond with LIC for a minimum period of four years from the date of joining (including probationary period) failing which, executors, administrators will be liable to pay liquidated damages of Rs.200,000. Candidates will have to submit Deed of Indemnity at his cost, duly stamped, the stamp value of which will be as applicable to the State in which the deed is executed by the candidate.
