LIC AAO 2018: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is expected to conduct LIC AAO 2018 for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist). Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of online exam followed by a personal interview and a medical fitness checkup. The application form of LIC AAO 2018 will be available in online mode. The application form of LIC AAO will be available online only. Candidates can fill the application form in multiple steps as given below:
Step 1: Registration – Candidates must click on ‘Click here for New Registration’ and enter their name, contact details and email ID. A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate must note down the provisional registration number and password. Registration number and Password will also be sent to the registered email ID and SMS.
Step 2: Entering personal details – In this step, candidates are advised to fill all the basic details. Candidates must note that the name of the candidate, name of their father/ husband etc should be the same as Certificates/ Mark sheets. No changes in the details will be allowed after final submission.
Step 3: Previewing details – To check all details before final submission, candidates must click on the ‘Preview Tab’ to verify and modify the details entered in the application form.
Step 4: Uploading of Photograph and Signature - There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature. Click on the respective link "Upload Photograph / Signature".
Step 5: Payment of application fees - The application fees of LIC AAO can be paid online using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

Step 6: Printout of online application and e-receipt: After payment, candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online LIC AAO application
form. However, if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not have been successful. Candidates are advised to login again repeat the process of payment.
The eligibility criteria of LIC AAO 2018 has been prescribed by the examination authority. Candidates have to fulfil the eligibility requirements in order to appear for the recruitment exam and get selected the AAO post. The eligibility conditions as per the previous years are given below:

The admit card of LIC AAO will be issued two weeks prior to the online examination. The admit card will only be available online. Interview: Interview round of LIC AAO will be held after the declaration of result. Candidates will be called for interview as per their ranking in their respective category. However, candidates have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks as decided by LIC. The number of candidates to be called for interview will be about three times the number of vacancies to be filled in subject to availability of successful candidates in the online examination and as per their ranking in their respective category.
Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination and if found medically fit, will be offered the appointment letter.

The cut off of LIC AAO 2018 will be declared as sectional and overall cut off. The minimum marks to be obtained in each Section and in the aggregate shall be decided by LIC. The selection process of LIC AAO starts with the registration.
