Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) releases the LIC AAO 2024 syllabus in the notification. LIC exam syllabus 2024 contains all topics from where the questions will be asked in the LIC AAO exam. Candidates are advised to go through the AAO syllabus 2024 before starting their preparations.
By going through the complete AAO exam syllabus 2024, candidates will find all the relevant topics at one place and they will easily be able to understand which topic needs more preparation and how to strategize their study plan. LIC AAO will be conducted for the three phases - Prelims, Mains, and Interview. The preliminary exam will contain questions from 3 sections - Quantitative Aptitude Test, Reasoning Ability, and English Language with Special emphasis on Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension. This section of the LIC AAO syllabus varies from post to post. It will be different for candidates applying for IT, Chartered Accountant, Actuarial, and Rajbhasha posts. The syllabus in professional knowledge will be the same as the syllabus of the qualifying course for these particular posts.
To tackle questions from this question, candidates need to be attentive and must be aware of the latest policies, development, news, and events related to insurance and financial market. By reading the newspaper and magazines regularly especially pertaining to subjects like the business, finance, and economy pages will help in preparing for this section. Apart from this banking, insurance, and other financial institutes background, history and various laws and policies related to them will also help in preparing.
The Descriptive Test will have – Letter Writing and Essay.
While preparing for the LIC AAO exam, speed and accuracy are going to play the key role. It is always preferable to be aware of the exam pattern and syllabus and start practising mock tests first.
English- This section requires minimum focus. Rearrangements and Cloze test would be enough to make you clear the cutoff. Attempt reading comprehension in the later stages.
Quantitative Aptitude- Questions will be based on - Quadratic equations, Simplification, Number series and Percentage, Profit & Loss, SI, CI, Ratio & Proportion, Time Speed Dist, Average, Probability, Mixtures, Allegations and Time & Work. Go through the previous year questions of LIC AAO/IBPS PO/SBI PO.
Reasoning Ability - Syllogisms, Coded Inequalities, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Alphanumeric series, Logical reasoning, Input-Output, Linear Arrangements and Circular arrangements.
Try to master the sections of Percentage, Fractions and Average. These sections help in solving DI faster.
Practice sufficient questions which you can easily find on bank preparing websites.
Don't attempt number series question first as they are time-consuming.
If you are unable to solve a single puzzle don't stick too long with it.
The LIC AAO exam will be conducted in 3 stages - Preliminary Exam, Mains and Personal Interview. Candidates qualifying the Preliminary exam will be qualified to appear for the mains, while the candidates qualifying the mains will be called for the final round which is the personal interview. To qualify in each stages candidates will have secure the minimum cut off marks specified by LIC. LIC will shortlist candidates twenty times the number of vacancies for the mains exam.
Candidates planning to appear for the LIC AAO 2024 exam must practise the previous year question paper for prelims and mains exam to strengthen their preparation strategy. LIC specifies the cut off marks of LIC AAO. The cut off is the minimum marks required for candidates to score in order to qualify the LIC AAO exam. Candidates who score the LIC 2024 AAO cut off marks are eligible to appear in the next stage of the recruitment process. The cut off of LIC AAO 2024 will be calculated out of 70 marks for Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning.

LIC AAO EXAM NOTIFICATION is expected to be out in December 2025 tentatively.
In every lic exam, there is a gap of 3 yrs…if we consider last years pattern we can expect notification this year…
If the notification is released this month then you can expect exam in March-April month because there is always two months in between notification and pre exam date and also the mains exam will be conducted after two months of prelims exams which will happen in August.
If notification comes in right time then this schedule fits the exam otherwise you can use this pattern according to the month of notification.

The candidates appearing for LICAAO should be ready for it. LIC released the notification for 2020 on February 25. It also has a list of the exam centres. The application close on March 15th,2020. Now, the prelims are postponed due to corona virus outbreak and further information is still left to be received.
• Age Limit: The candidate must be 21 Years to 30 Years as on 01.04.2020 i.e. candidates must have been born between 02.04.1990 and 01.04.1999 (both dates inclusive)
• Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they must produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.07.2020. Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2020. Candidates with Chartered Accountant certification may also apply.
SBI PO Selection Procedure: Important Points
The candidates should keep in mind the following points related to the SBI PO selection process:
• Biometric Verification: To ensure an error-free and secure selection procedure for SBI PO 2020, the bank may digitally capture the thumb impression of the candidate. This is done to verify the genuineness of the candidates. Any inconsistency in the biometric verification will lead to rejection of the candidature and punitive legal actions. Candidates are thus advised not to apply any kind of external matter like ink, mehandi, chemical etc. on their hands.
• Number of Attempts: The maximum number of chances are fixed for each category. Candidates who have used up all the chances are not eligible to apply. Appearing in Preliminary Exam is not counted as an attempt but appearing in Mains Exam is counted.
