Percentage - The word - ‘Percentage’ is a combination per + cent. A comparison by 100 is called percentage. It is the most common topic in the quantitative aptitude section in all government job exams. The percentage is the most important topic because the whole theory of arithmetic is depended on its concept. We have learned it in our school days but here we need some smart approaches to solve the questions. Questions in quantitative aptitude sections of government and competitive exams don’t match much from what we studied in school. Most common types of questions asked in percentages are as follows -

  • Tables, square, cubes are the prerequisite for the percentages.

  • Solve each question that appeared in past papers.

The percentage is important because all the other topics in arithmetic are based on the concepts of percentages. Some of the topics which are totally dependable over percentages are as follows:-
