KTET Syllabus 2021 - Kerala Pariksha Bhavan will release the KTET 2021 syllabus for all aspiring candidates on its official website. The syllabus of KTET will be released in the form of PDF for category I, II, III, and IV. The KTET 2021 exam is expected to be conducted in January in offline mode. The test is conducted for four categories or papers - Category/Paper I II, III, and IV for classes 1 to 5, 6 to 8, 8 to 10 and for Language papers respectively. The test will be held to determine the eligibility of the candidates to be recruited as Teachers in classes 1 to 10 and Language Teachers in the schools of Kerala.

KTET Syllabus - Category wise

The authorities conduct the KTET exam for the following four categories or papers:

  • Category I or Paper I - For classes 1 to 5

  • Category II or Paper II - For classes 6 to 8

  • Category III or Paper III - For classes 8 to 10

  • Category IV or Paper IV - For Language Teachers ( in Arabic, Urdu, Sanskrit, Hindi), Specialist Teacher and Physical Education Teacher

KTET 2021 Syllabus For Category I (Classes 1 to 5)

The test for category I is conducted for those who wish to become teachers in classes 1 to 5. The KTET paper I or category I test consists of questions from the following sections:

  • Child Development And Pedagogy

  • Language I - Malayalam/Kannada/Tamil

  • Language II- English/arabic

  • Environmental Science

  • Mathematics

KTET Syllabus 2021 For Category II (Classes 6 to 8)

The authorities conduct category II tests for those willing to become teachers in classes 6 to 8. KTET paper II contains questions from the following sections:

  • Child Development And Pedagogy

  • Language I - Malayalam/English/Tamil/Kannada

  • Language II - Malayalam/English/Hindi/ Arabic/Urdu/Sanskrit

  • A) Science & Mathematics, B) Social Science

KTET 2021 Syllabus For Category III (Classes 8 to 10)

For those willing to teach classes 8 to 10, must go through the syllabus of KTET 2020 for category III. The sections from where the questions will be asked in the KTET paper III have been mentioned below:

  • Adolescent Psychology, Theories of Learning & Teaching Aptitude

  • Language I - Malayalam/English/Tamil/Kannada

  • Subject Specific Areas (Malayalam, English, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Arabuc, Urdu, Sanskrit, Physical Science, Natural Science, Mathematics, Social Science

  • Economics

  • Political Science

KTET Syllabus For Language Teachers (Category IV)

For determining the eligibility of the candidates as a Language Teacher, the authorities conduct a paper IV of KTET. The test for paper IV of JTET is conducted for the following languages:

  • Urdu

  • Hindi

  • Sanskrit

  • Arabic

  • Physical Education

  • Drawing

  • Sewing

  • Music
