Bihar STET Eligibility Criteria 2026

The BSEB prescribes the Bihar STET 2026 eligibility criteria and is released iin the official notification. Candidates need to be aware of the STET Bihar Eligibility criteria 2026 before filling out the application form. Candidates must Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Institute With a Minimum of 50% marks and B. Ed in Special Education with a valid CRR number from the Rehabilitation Council of India.


Candidate must possess a Diploma equivalent to a B. Ed is Special Education from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India along with a CRR number and a 6-month training session in Inter Disability by the Rehabilitation Council of India

Subject groups

Mathematics: Candidate must have studied mathematics at an undergraduate level. Candidates must have studied any 2 Subjects out of Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Chemistry And Statistics at graduation with a specialization in Maths. The qualification of BCA in computer science shall also be considered.

Science: Candidate must have studied Zoology, Botany and Chemistry at graduation level or engineering with a specialization in science. Biotechnology and microbiology are also considered.

Social Science: Candidate must have passed any two subjects out of History, Geography, Economics And Political Science. One of the subjects must be History or Geography. The subject of Ancient History is considered equivalent to history

Language: It is necessary for candidates looking to become secondary teachers, it is mandatory to have studied language-related subjects as an honours or subsidiary subject at graduation.
