SBI PO 2018 - State Bank of India has released the scorecard of SBI PO 2018 along with the final cut off on November 5, 2018. The final result of SBI PO 2018 was declared on October 29. As per the final result of SBI PO 2018, there are 2003 candidates who have qualified for the final recruitment. The result of SBI PO mains exam 2018 was declared on August 27, 2018. SBI had conducted SBI PO mains 2018 exam on August 4, in one slot, from 10 am to 1.30 pm. After qualifying the mains exam, the candidates had been further called for Group Discussion (GD) & Interview, which was held from September 24 to October 12. The interview call letter of SBI PO 2018 was issued on September 3, which could be downloaded by the candidates in online mode till October 12, 2018.

SBI PO Result 2018

The scorecard of SBI PO 2018 has been released by the exam conducting authority on November 5, 2018. SBI PO final result was announced on October 29, 2018. The result was declared in PDF format containing the roll numbers of only the qualified candidates. The SBI PO mains exam result 2018 was announced on August 27, 2018. Based on their result in mains examination, candidates were shortlisted for group discussion and interview. SBI PO 2018 result for a preliminary exam was declared on July 16. Based on the SBI PO result for the preliminary exam, candidates were able to appear in mains exam. SBI PO 2018 prelims scorecard was released on July 18 in online mode. Candidates were able to check their scores by entering registration/roll number and date of birth/password.

 

SBI PO Admit Card 2018

SBI had released the interview call letter of SBI PO 2018 on September 3. Candidates were able to download the SBI PO interview call letter 2018 till October 12. The The admit card of SBI PO 2018 for mains was available online from July 21, 2018. Candidates had to download the call letter or admit card of the respective stage of the examination. SBI PO 2018 admit card for interview and discussion can be downloaded from September 1.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2018

SBI determines SBI PO 2018 eligibility criteria which include conditions candidates must meet in order to be eligible for the test and the recruitment process. SBI PO 2018 Eligibility Criteria related to Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed graduation in any discipline or are appearing in the final semester or year of graduation/any equivalent examination from a recognized university. 

  • Candidates in the final semester/year can also apply, however, they have show the proof by August 31, 2018 that they have passed graduation.

  • Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) Certificate can also apply, given that they prove that they have passed the certificate on or before August 31, 2018. 

  • Chartered Accountants are also eligible to apply. 

SBI PO 2018 Eligibility Criteria related to Age

Candidates age must fall between 21 years to 30 years as on April 1. This means that candidates must be born between April 2, 1988 and April 1, 1997.

SBI had released SBI PO application form 2018 in online mode from April 21 to May 13. Within these dates, the candidates could also edit/modify/change the details and pay the application fee for SBI PO 2018. SBI PO 2018 Exam Pattern 


The exam pattern of SBI PO was released by SBI which is very helpful for candidates in terms of understanding the pattern of the test. SBI PO 2018 Preliminary Exam Pattern

The preliminary examination of SBI PO 2018 was held in online mode on July 1, 7 and 8 wherein candidates had to answer questions from English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The test was held for 1 hour and candidates had to attempt 100 questions in total – 35 each from Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability and 30 from English Language. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark, while for each incorrect answer, 0.25 or 1/4th marks will be deducted.

SBI PO 2018 Mains Exam Pattern

SBI conducted SBI PO mains test for qualified candidates of preliminary exam. The test had two parts – objective test for 200 marks and descriptive test for 50 marks.

Objective Exam

The objective exam was held for 3 hours wherein the candidates had to answer questions from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/ Banking Awareness and English Language. Candidates have to answer a total of 155 questions from all these 4 sections.

Descriptive Exam

In the Descriptive Test, candidates had to answer 2 questions online (on a computer) from English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) within in 30 minutes. These 2 questions will be of 50 marks.

SBI PO Cut off 2018

SBI has released the category wise final cut off marks of SBI PO 2018. SBI PO cut off is the minimum marks required by the candidates to secure in order to be eligible for the next phase of selection procedure. SBI releases separate SBI PO 2018 cut off for preliminary, mains and interview. SBI PO cut off 2018 is the deciding factor for a certain number of candidates for the subsequent round of recruitment. Candidates are required to secure the sectional as well as the overall SBI PO cut off at each stage of examination.

SBI PO Recruitment Procedure 2018 or Career Path

Selected candidates in SBI PO will be recruited on probation for a period of two years wherein they have to undergo rigorous training. Towards the end of the probation/training period, the candidates are required to undergo a screening procedure. While those Officers who achieve the predetermined standards may be confirmed and given placement in the next higher grade i.e., Officer Middle Management Grade Scale-II, others who qualify in the test but fail to achieve the standards set for placement in Middle Management Grade Scale-II, will be confirmed as Officer Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The services of those Officers who fail to qualify in this process will be terminated.
