SBI PO 2018 – State Bank of India (SBI) has released the admit card of SBI PO 2018 for prelims exam on June 18. Candidates can download SBI PO 2018 admit card till July 8 in online mode. SBI will conduct SBI PO preliminary exam on July 1, 7 and 8 and mains on August 4, in online mode. The exam – SBI PO will be conducted in 3 phases - Preliminary exam, Main exam and Group Exercise & Interview. Candidates, who will qualify in SBI PO preliminary examination 2018 will be eligible for taking mains exam on August 4. The result for the preliminary examination of SBI PO will be declared on July 15, while the result for the mains exam will be announced on August 20.
After qualifying the mains exam, the candidates will be further called for Group Discussion (GD) & Interview, which will be held from September 24 to October 12. Candidates will be selected for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) on the basis of their ranks in the merit list of SBI PO 2018. SBI will announce the final result of SBI PO 2018 on November 1. SBI PO 2018 Eligibility Criteria related to Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed graduation in any discipline or are appearing in the final semester or year of graduation/any equivalent examination from a recognised university.
Candidates in the final semester/year can also apply, however, they have show the proof by August 31, 2018 that they have passed graduation.
Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) Certificate can also apply, given that they prove that they have passed the certificate on or before August 31, 2018.
Chartered Accountants are also eligible to apply.
SBI PO 2018 Eligibility Criteria related to Age
Candidates age must fall between 21 years to 30 years as on April 1. This means that candidates must be born between April 2, 1988 and April 1, 1997.

SBI PO 2018 Preliminary Exam Pattern
The preliminary examination of SBI PO 2018 will be held in online mode on July 1, 7 and 8 wherein candidates will have to answer questions from English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The test will be held for 1 hour and candidates have to attempt 100 questions in total – 35 each from Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability and 30 from English Language. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark, while for each incorrect answer, 0.25 or 1/4th marks will be deducted.

SBI will conduct SBI PO mains test for qualifying candidates of preliminary exam. The test will have two parts – objective test for 200 marks and descriptive test for 50 marks.
The objective exam will be held for 3 hours wherein the candidates have to answer questions from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/ Banking Awareness and English Language. Candidates have to answer a total of 155 questions from all these 4 sections.
In the Descriptive Test, candidates have to answer 2 questions online (on computer) from English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) within in 30 minutes. These 2 questions will be of 50 marks.

Qualifying candidates in preliminary and mains exam will be called for Group Discussion & Interview.
SBI PO 2018 question papers are not released officially, as the entrance test is being held in online mode. However, candidates can find some of the previous years question papers when the entrance test was held in offline mode. SBI will declare the result of SBI PO 2018 in three stages – preliminary, mains and group discussion and interview. SBI PO result for preliminary exam will be declared on July 15, while the result for mains examination will be announced on August 20. The final SBI PO result 2018 will be announced on November 1. Based on the SBI PO result for preliminary exam, candidates have to appear in mains and based on their result in mains examination, they will be eligible for group discussion and interview.

SBI PO cut off 2018 is the deciding factor for a certain number of candidates for the subsequent round of recruitment. The SBI PO cut off score for preliminary examination will be calculated out of 100 marks. Candidates have to secure overall as well as sectional qualifying marks to become eligible for mains exam.

Selected candidates in SBI PO will be recruited on probation for a period of two years wherein they have to undergo rigorous training. Towards the end of the probation/training period, the candidates are required to undergo a screening procedure. While those Officers who achieve the predetermined standards may be confirmed and given placement in the next higher grade i.e., Officer Middle Management Grade Scale-II, others who qualify in the test but fail to achieve the standards set for placement in Middle Management Grade Scale-II, will be confirmed as Officer Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The services of those Officers who fail to qualify in this process will be terminated.
