Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC NDA 1 eligibility criteria 2025 in the official notification. The notification containing the NDA 1 2025 eligibility criteria is released on December 11, 2024. The notification is released on their website - upsc.gov.in. UPSC NDA eligibility criteria 2025 will be determined on the basis of different factors like age, nationality, academic qualification, and physical standard.

NDA 2025 Eligibility Criteria - Nationality
As per the UPSC NDA notification 2025, an applicant who is an Indian citizen can apply for the NDA exam 2025. They should fulfil any of the NDA eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Commission below.
Candidates of Indian Origin or
A subject of Nepal or
A subject of Bhutan or
People of Indian origin migrated from Zaire, Ethiopia, East African Countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, Burma, Pakistan, Zambia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam to settle in India or
Tibetan refugees came to India, to settle in India before January 1, 1962.
NDA Eligibility Criteria 2025 - Age Limit
The Union Public Service Commission mentions the age limit in the official NDA notification 2025. As per the UPSC NDA 2025 eligibility criteria, applicants between July 2, 2006, to July 1, 2009, can apply online for the National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) exam. Note: There is no age relaxation provided to reserved category applicants for the NDA & NA examinations as per the rules set by the Union Public Service Commission. Also, the NDA age limit for girls and for boys are the same.
NDA Eligibility Criteria 2025 - Academic Qualification
UPSC Board also mentions the educational qualifications which are needed to apply for the UPSC NDA 2025 exam. To be eligible to appear in the NDA 2025 exam, candidates should have passed the 12th class from a recognized board.

NDA Eligibility Criteria - Marital Status
Candidates who want to appear for the UPSC NDA 1 and NDA 2 2025 exam must be unmarried and must remain unmarried until the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy training is completed. If the candidate marries in between the UPSC NDA training he will be removed from the Academy.
NDA Eligibility Criteria 2025 - Physical Standard
Those clearing the NDA & NA 2025 SSB interview round will be called for the NDA physical fitness or medical test round. In this stage, the physical and mental state of the candidate will be tested by the authorities. If they fail to meet the prescribed medical standards, they will be disqualified. NDA has prescribed the medical requirements to test the visual standards of the candidates. As per the details mentioned in the official brochure, The distance vision (corrected) of candidates must be 6/6 in the better eye and 6/9 in the worse eye. NDA Application Form 2025
The conducting authority has released the NDA 1 application form 2025 on December 11, 2024. The NDA form 2025 is released on the official website - upsc.gov.in. Candidates who meet the UPSC NDA 2025 eligibility criteria are eligible to apply online before December 31, 2024. The NDA 2025 application form fee is Rs 100 for General and OBC category candidates and Nil for others.
The NDA exam form 2025 has two parts and should be filled out carefully. No option to edit the NDA application form 2025 will be provided after its submission. Upon successful completion of the NDA registration 2025, candidates would receive a confirmation regarding the same.

Yes,you are eligible for NDA 1 2026 exam. For NDA 1 exam, candidates must be born between 2nd July 2007 And 1st july 2010. The age limit of candidates should be between 16.5 and 19.5 years. For NDA 2 2026 exam ,you will not be eligible. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must have passed class 12th form a recognised board.

Yes, you might be eligible for the NDA 1 and 2 20 26 exams because the eligibility criteria for the NDA exam is that your age must be between 16.5 years and 19.5 years, and since you were born on February 18 2007 you will be very well between 19.5 Years and 16.5 by the time the 2026 exams are conducted. It depends on the specific year's cutoff and the category you belong , Since the cutoffs vary each year , especially for different branches and categories (like EWS, OBC, etc.) , it's essential to check the latest official cutoff trends . For a rank of 440 , it may be competitive enough , but you should refer to the current cutoff data for your category to estimate your chances .
As for your fitness for joining the Navy , it's based on physical and medical standards . which include good overall health , physical fitness and vision . Since you mentioned having a Physically Challenged Disability (PCD) , it could affect your eligibility for certain roles .
However , the Navy may have specific roles available for individuals with certain types of disabilities , so it's advisable to check with the recruitment authority about the specific conditions under which you might be eligible .
