IBPS RRB 2018

IBPS RRB 2018 - The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the application form of IBPS RRB 2018 on June 8. Candidates can fill the application, edit the details and pay the application fee from June 8 to July 2 in online mode. Earlier, the notification of IBPS RRB 2018 has been released wherein a total of 10190 vacancies are announced for the posts of Officers Scale I, II & III and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in 56 Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). Out of the total, 5249 vacancies are available for Office Assistant and a total of 3312 for the post of Officer Scale I. 1429 vacancies are for Officer II and 160 vacancies are available for Officer Scale III. The preliminary exam of IBPS RRB 2018 for Officer Scale I will be conducted on August 11, 12, 18 while the exam for Office Assistant will be held on August 19, 25 and September 1, 2018. The mains/single examination will be held on September 30 (Office I, II, III) and October 7 (Office Assistant). To apply for IBPS RRB 2018 candidates must be between 18 to 40 years of age.

IBPS RRB Application Form 2018


The application form of IBPS RRB 2018 has been released on June 8, 2018, in the online mode. Candidates can submit their application form, pay their application fees and make changes in the particulars till July 2. The application fee for SC/ST/EXSM is Rs. 100 and Rs. 600 for all other categories. The IBPS RRB registration process includes six steps as given below:

  • Registration: Candidates have to click on 'New Registration' and personal details along with the number and email ID
  • Uploading photograph, signature, thumb impression and a handwritten declaration: Candidates have to upload their scanned images of photograph, signature and thumb impression and a handwritten declaration.
  • Entering personal details: Candidates have to enter all the personal details
  • Preview of application form: Candidates can preview/edit application form before submission of all the details
  • Payment of fees: Candidates have to pay the requisite fee through net banking, Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Card
  • Printout of application: Candidates have to agree to the terms and condition and submit the application form and take a printout of e-receipt. 

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2018


The eligibility criteria of IBPS RRB has been declared by the exam conducting body. The IBPS RRB eligibility criteria 2018 provide details regarding age and educational qualification which are required for applying to the post of Officers Scale I, II & III and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) RRBs. For Officers Scale III

Above 21 years and below 40

Graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from  University.

IBPS RRB Selection Process

 

Candidates under IBPS RRB recruitment will be selected on the basis of mains examination and interview. Allotments in different RRBs will be done on the basis of their ranks in merit list and post preferences. The IBPS RRB selection procedure for different posts is given below.

Officers Scale I: For the post of IBPS RRB Officers Scale I, the recruitment will be done on the basis of mains examination and Interview.

Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Selection for this post will be done on the basis of only mains examination.

Officers Scale II & III: For the post of Officers Scale II & III the recruitment will be done on the basis of candidates performance in mains exam and interview.

IBPS RRB Admit Card 2018

The examination authority will issue the admit card in three phases – Preliminary, Mains/Single examination interview. The IBPS RRB 2018 admit card is made available to candidates whose applications have been accepted by examination authority. To download the IBPS RRB admit card candidates have to through their registered accounts. The admit card will have information such as their exam roll number, category, photograph, signature, name address of the allotted exam etc.

IBPS RRB Cut off 2018

IBPS decides off score for each stage – Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates have to secure sectional as well as overall IBPS RRB cut off to qualify each stage of recruitment process. The IBPS RRB cut off 2018 of each stage will be released along with the result. Candidates who will score higher marks in the mains examination, single online exam and interview will be placed at higher ranks in IBPS RRB merit list and amongst those having high ranks will be recruited to any of the participating banks.
