IBPS Clerk 2016 – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released IBPS Clerk 2016 notification on August 12 for recruitment of around 19243 clerical posts in public sector banks. Some government and private financial organisation also accepts IBPS clerk score for filling up their clerical cadre post in their respective organisations. The online recruitment exam of IBPS Clerk 2016 was conducted in two phases - preliminary and mains for recruitment of candidates in clerical posts in as many as 19 public sector banks in India. The preliminary exam of IBPS 2016 Clerk was conducted on November 26, 27 and December 3 & 4, 2016. The IBPS 2016 Clerk main exam was held on January 1, 2017. The mains result of IBPS Clerk 2016 will be announced in the month of March 2017 based on which allotment of banks will be done as per the rank and preference of candidates. IBPS Clerk 2016 Result: The result and score of IBPS Clerk 2016 for preliminary has been released and result of mains will be declared in the month of March, 2017. The IBPS Clerk result 2016 will be declared only for those candidates who will qualify the recruitment exam by scoring overall as well as subject wise cut off at each stage of examination. As per the official notification, no Interviews will be conducted under IBPS Clerks 2016 and candidates will be selected solely on the on the basis of their score secured in mains exam.
IBPS Clerk 2016 Cut off: Candidates have to secure the prescribed cut off score as per their category to qualify the entrance exam. The exam conducting body releases IBPS Clerk 2016 cut off score of each stages at the time announcement of result. The result declares for only those candidates who score the subject wise as well as overall cut off score.
IBPS Clerk 2016 Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria of IBPS Clerk 2016 are given below for the candidates who will apply for the recruitment process:
Age Limit (As on August 1, 2016) - A candidate must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1988 and not later than August 1, 1996 (both dates inclusive)
Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 28 years
Relaxation of Upper age is provided to reserved category candidates in special cases
Education Qualification: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Nationality: A candidate must be citizen of India, Tibetan Refugee, Nepal and Bhutan who came over to India before January 1, 1962. Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Pakistan, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika & Zanzibar), Zaire, Burma, etc.
IBPS Clerk 2016 Application Form: The application form of IBPS Clerk 2016 was available from August 22. The last date to fill IBPS 2016 application form was September 12. Candidates was fill IBPS 2016 Clerk application form in online mode only. Before filling up the application form, candidates were advised to read the procedure carefully. The IBPS Clerk 2016 application form could be filled in 5 stages. At stage 1, candidates could fill their personal information like their name, contact detail etc. In the next stage candidates could upload their photograph and signature of required specification. IBPS Clerk 2016 Admit Card: The admit card of IBPS Clerk 2016 is issued by the exam authority separately for pre-exam training, IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam, IBPS Clerk Main Exam and interview. Registered candidates can download their IBPS Clerk 2016 Call letter once it is available in online mode. IBPS will not send call letter to any candidate by post or any other means. The call letter of IBPS Clerk 2016 preliminary exam was available from November 10. The admit card of mains has been released in November.
IBPS Clerk 2016 Exam Centres: The IBPS Clerk 2016 entrance exam will be conducted in computer based mode at around 150 exam centres across India. Candidates have to select IBPS Clerk 2016 exam centres during filling up the application form.
