ESIC SSO 2023 - The Employee’s State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) releases the ESIC SSO application form in online mode on the official website along with the notification. The ESIC SSO exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Social Security Officer/Superintendent/ Manager Grade - II. Candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to apply in online mode on the official website.

Candidates will be selected for ESIC SSO in three phases. As a first phase, candidates will have to appear for the prelims exam. Then the shortlisted candidates in the prelims will be called for mains exam. The final phase of the selection process is the computer skill test and descriptive paper.

Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualification to apply for the ESIC SSO, candidates with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university are eligible for this post. Preference will be given to the candidates who have graduated in Commerce/Law/Management. Working knowledge of computers including use of office suites and databases.

The Employee’s State Insurance Corporation will release the ESIC SSO 2023 application form in online mode on the official website. Candidates will be able to fill the application form of ESIC SSO in online mode only.

Candidates are first required to complete the registration process on the official website. After the successful registration, candidates can proceed to fill the application form of ESIC SSO. While filling the application form, applicants need to upload scanned images of recent photographs, signatures and thumb impressions and handwritten declarations. Application Fees

The Employee’s State Insurance Corporation specifies the ESIC SSO exam pattern in its official notification. According to the exam pattern of ESIC SSO, The exam will be conducted in three stages such as prelims, mains and skill tests.

The prelims exam is qualifying in nature and marks will not be reckoned for final merit. There will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the mark for each wrong answer assigned to that question. Candidates will be shortlisted for the mains exam in a ratio of 1:10. The version of the question paper will be in English and Hindi.

ESIC SSO exam pattern for Mains

The marks obtained in mains will be considered for final selection.For each wrong answer, one-fourth of the mark allotted to that question will carry negative marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for skill test in a ratio of 1:5.

ESIC SSO Skill Test and Descriptive Test

1. Computer Skill Test (CST) - 50 Marks (30 Minutes Duration) comprising of following three parts:

• Preparation of 2 Power Points Slides – 10 Marks

• Typing matter on MS Word with formatting - 20 Marks

• Preparation of table on MS Excel with use of formulae – 20 Marks

2. Descriptive Paper - English Language (Letter Writing & Essay)

The conducting authorities will issue the ESIC SSO 2023 admit card in online mode on the official website. Candidates who successfully submitted the application form will be able to download the admit card from the official website. The ESIC SSO admit card can be downloaded using login credentials such as registration number/roll number and password/date of birth. In case of any details are printed wrongly on the admit card of ESIC SSO, applicants must contact the conducting authority to do corrections as soon as possible. Candidates need to carry the admit card along with one valid photo ID proof on the exam day.

The ESIC SSO answer key will be released approximately 15 to 30 days after the conclusion of the examination. The answer key will be released separately for all the phases.
