UGC NET Exam Day Guidelines 2026 - Exam Day Instructions, Document to Carry, Reporting Time
The UGC NET exam for the June session is conducted online. Candidates can now check the UGC NET 2026 exam day guidelines here. The National Testing Agency conducts the UGC NET exam 2026 twice a year. UGC NET Exam Day Guidelines 2026
The exam-conducting authorities provide the UGC NET exam day guidelines for 2026 in the information brochure on the official website. UGC NET 2026 exam guidelines will also be prescribed in the admit card. Applicants must follow the UGC NET exam day guidelines at exam centres. Some of the UGC NET guidelines for the UGC NET exam are given below:
Candidates appearing for the exam are advised to reach their exam centre at least one hour before the entry starts.
It is a must to carry your UGC NET admit card on the day of the exam. Students must note that no candidate will be allowed to get entry inside the examination hall without producing their admit card. Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry a valid Photo Identity proof for verification purposes.

UGC NET Exam Day Guidelines 2026 - Reporting Time
As per the UGC NET exam day guidelines, they should follow the timing.
Applicants will not be allowed inside the examination centre after 8.30 am in the first shift and 2.30 pm in the second shift.
Candidates should reach the examination hall at the examination centers at 8.45 am in the first shift and 2.45 pm in the second shift.

UGC NET Admit Card 2026
The National Testing Agency will release the UGC NET 2026 admit card in online mode. The admit card of UGC NET was released on the official website. Students must note that the admit card is a mandatory document that every student needs to carry to get entry into the exam hall. The UGC NET exam hall ticket includes important details like the name of the candidate, date of exam, address of the exam centre and more. The steps to download the UGC NET admit card 2026 are given below:

Now click on the “UGC NET admit card link.
Login to the admit card portal using your application number, date of birth and captcha code.
Upon successful login, the UGC NET admit card will appear on the screen.
Download and take a print of the admit card for future use.
