IBPS PO 2019 - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts IBPS PO 2019 for recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT). The authority is expected to release in August 2019. The exam will be held in three stages – prelims, mains, an interview. Candidates who wish to appear for IBPS PO 2019 have to register themselves for the examination. To appear in IBPS PO exam, candidates must be between 20 to 30 years of age. IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019

The eligibility of IBPS PO 2019 will be released by IBPS. The eligibility criteria 2019 include eligibility based on nationality, age, educational qualification, etc. It is important that the candidates check the eligibility criteria of IBPS PO 2019 before applying for the exam.   • IBPS PO Nationality/Citizenship Criteria 2019 – Candidates must be a citizen of India
  • IBPS PO Age Criteria 2019 - Candidate must be 20-30 years of age. A relaxation i.e. an extension of the age limit is given to special categories which go from about 3 years to 10 years.
  • IBPS PO Educational Qualification Criteria 2019 - Candidate must have a graduation degree such as B.A., B, Tech., or any other Bachelors Degree from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification also recognized by the Government of India.
  • Additional criteria - The candidate must be computer literate as the mode of examination is online. The candidate must also have proficiency, both verbal and written in the language of the state or the union territory.

IBPS PO Application Form 2019

The application form of IBPS PO 2019 will be released in August 2019 in online mode. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility criteria before applying online for IBPS PO 2019.

Application fees once paid will be non-refundable. The fee for SC/ST/PWD is expected to be Rs. 100 and for general and other categories Rs. 600 (including intimation charges).

IBPS will release the admit card of IBPS PO 2019 for mains and prelims exam in online mode separately. Without the admit card of IBPS PO, candidates will not be allowed in the exam hall. IBPS PO Exam Centres 2019

IBPS will release the list of IBPS PO exam centres along with the notification. The exam will be conducted across 36 states/UTs. IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 – Preliminary Examination

There are three sections in the IBPS PO prelims exam -

  • English Language
  • Numerical Ability
  • Reasoning Ability

IBPS PO 2019 Prelims Exam Pattern

  • One hour will be given to complete this section
  • IBPS PO prelims exam will carry 100 marks
  • A weightage of 100 marks against 100 questions

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 – Mains Examination

IBPS PO 2019 mains exam has four objective sections -

  • Reasoning and Computer Aptitude
  • General/Economy/Banking Awareness
  • English Language
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation

IBPS PO 2019 Mains Examination – Details

  • The time duration for these sections is three hours
  • These sections will carry 200 marks
  • The descriptive section will have two questions of 25 marks
  • There are sectional time allotted time for each section

IBPS PO 2019 Interview

Candidates shortlisted for the mains examination for IBPS PO 2019 will be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at the select centres only. The centre, address of the venue, time and time of the Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the IBPS PO 2019 call letter. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The ratio of mains exam and Interview will be 80:20 respectively.

How to prepare by subjects and division of sections for IBPS PO 2019

  • While preparing for the IBPS PO exam, divide time for sections and subjects according to what you find most difficult
  • Pick one topic at a time to avoid confusion
  • Try a good number of questions, say 50, of the same kind to attain accuracy
  • Keep in mind the weightage, time consumed, difficulty and topic for each prep session.
  • Select the right material
  • The quantitative and reasoning ability questions in the IBPS PO Pre and Mains exam are more time consuming than language and need more attention and hence more practice

IBPS PO Cut Off 2019

IBPS decides to cut off score for each stage – Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates have to secure sectional as well as overall IBPS PO cut off to qualify each stage of the recruitment process. The IBPS PO cut off 2019 of each stage will be released along with the result. Candidates who will score higher marks in the mains examination, single online exam and interview will be placed at higher ranks in IBPS PO merit list and amongst those having high ranks will be allotted to any of the participating banks.

IBPS PO Selection Procedure 2019

IBPS PO Selection Procedure 2019 includes stages of the recruitment procedure. Qualifying candidates of IBPS PO prelims exam will be eligible to appear for IBPS PO mains. After qualifying the mains exam, candidates will be called for the personal interview. Candidates need to secure the cutoff marks in order to qualify. The IBPS PO 2019 interview carries 100 marks. The interview lasts no longer than 15-20 minutes.
