In the syllabus of RRB ALP 2026 for CBT 2, there will same sections as CBT 1 apart from Basic Science & Engineering which will be replaced by General Science. RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2026

Along with RRB ALP Syllabus 2026, aspirants should also check the exam pattern. The exam pattern of RRB ALP consists of the number of sections, a total number of questions asked in the exam, duration of the exam, marking scheme etc. There are three stages – CBT 1, CBT 2 and Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). CBT 1 has 75 questions, CBT 2 (Part A) has 100 questions while CBT 2 (Part B) has 75 questions. The time duration of CBT 1 is 60 minutes for CBT 2 it is 90 minutes and for CBT 2 (Part B) it is 60 minutes. There is negative marking of 1/3 of the total marks allotted to the question.
