HP Judicial Services Exam 2023 - Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is scheduled to conduct the HP Judicial Services Mains Exam from September 18 to 22, 2023. The HP Judicial Services admit card 2023 for mains has been issued on September 6, 2023. In the second stage of the exam, HP Judicial Service Mains have five papers and a Viva-voce and it will weigh 1000 marks.

HPPSC released the notification of the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Exam on April 22, 2023 in online mode at www.hppsc.hp.gov.in/hppsc. Along with releasing the notification authorities have also released the application form of the HP Judicial exam. The last date to apply for the exam was May 12, 2023. The application fee for HP Judicial services was Rs. 400 for General categories candidates while for OBC, SC and ST candidates had to pay Rs. 100.

Candidates who want to apply for the exam must be a citizen of India. Along with this, candidates must hold a degree in Law as recognized by the Bar Council of India. The Himachal Pradesh Judicial exam is conducted in two stages - 1) Preliminary Exam and 2) Main Exam. HPPSC Judicial Prelims exam has three papers that will weigh 300 marks together.

In order to be eligible for HPPSC Judicial Services exam 2023, applicants need to satisfy some basic requirements. These basic requirements are given below:

• The aspirant must have a degree in Law from a college/university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• Applicants must be a citizen of India.
• It is advised that the candidate has knowledge of dialects, customs and manners of Himachal Pradesh.
• Aspirants are required to be at least 22 years old and at most 35 years old. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for SC/ST and other prescribed reserved categories (OPRC) applicants of Himachal Pradesh.

Steps to fill the HP Judicial Services application form 2023

Step 1: Go to the link provided on this page.

Step 2: Register yourself as a 'New User' if you are not registered.

Step 3: Note down the ID and password as you will have to log in to get the admit card, result and such.

Step 4: Click on 'click to apply' and enter your information as required in particular fields.

Step 5: Upload images of a recent Photograph and Signature. Images must be in .jpeg format and should not exceed 40 KB each. The signature should be put on white paper using a black ink pen.

Step 6: Proceed for payment after submitting the application. Candidates can pay either through an e-challan or through e-payment (credit/debit card and others).

Step 7: After the payment is done, be sure to print at least 2-3 copies of the completed application form.

Step 8: After making the payment and taking out the print, access the 'Online Application Filing System'.

Step 9: Enter your details on the login page and take a printout of the application form available in PDF format.

Step 10: Dispatch the printout with the required documents to “Controller of Examination, Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla -171002”. Applicants are also advised to write the name of the examination viz. “Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Examination, 2017" on the envelope before dispatching it.
