SSC SI Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has prescribes the eligibility criteria of SSC SI 2019 along with the notification. SSC SI 2019 eligibility criteria are the specifications set by the Commission regarding nationality, age, educational qualification and physical standards. As per SSC SI eligibility criteria 2019, the age of candidates must be between 20 and 25 years. The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for SSC SI 2019 is graduation for all posts. SSC SI application form 2019 will be available in March 2019 tentatively. Highlights of SSC SI 2019 Eligibility Criteria

 

Nationality

On the basis of SSC SI eligibility criteria 2019 mandated by SSC, candidates must be:

 

(a) citizen of India,

(b) citizen of Nepal,

(c) citizen of Bhutan,

(d) Tibetan refugee having arrived in India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,

(e) Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) will be provisionally admitted to SSC SI 2019 and will be offered appointment to said post only after producing required certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

 

SSC SI Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Age Limit

Candidates applying for SSC SI 2019 must be 20 to 25 years to be eligible to appear for the exam. However, candidates belonging to certain categories will be granted age relaxation in upper age limit. The category-wise age relaxation is provided in the by SSC.

(iii) Departmental Candidates (SC/ ST) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on closing date.

SSC SI 2019 Eligibility Criteria - Educational Qualification

Candidates appearing for SSC SI exam must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or possess equivalent degree to fulfill SSC SI eligibility criteria. Candidates appearing for final year of graduation can also appear for the exam provided they produce valid Certificate of Graduation before final recruitment.

 

For the candidates applying for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only must have valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) during Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests to fulfill SSC SI eligibility criteria for the post. Candidates who have applied for other posts in CAPFs will be able to appear for the exam without driving license.

SSC SI 2019 Eligibility Criteria - Medical standard

The medical standard under eligibility criteria of SSC SI 2019 will be prescribed by Staff Selection Commission. Candidates can check the medical standards crtieria as per previous year.

 

Eye sight: Minimum near vision must be N6 for better eye and N9 for worse eye. Distant vision should be minimum 6/6 for better eye and 6/9 for worse eye. The standards must be without the aid of visual correction.

Tattoo: The following guidelines has been provided in previous year’s notification. Candidates must check the instruction below.

(i) Content: Tattoos that represent or portray religious symbol or figures and name will be eligible for the posts

(ii) Location: Tattoos should be marked on traditional sites of the body. Candidates having tattoos on non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands will be permitted

(iii) Size: The size of tattoo must not exceed one fourth of the particular part of body.

Note: The conditions stated above are not applicable for candidates who have applied for Sub Inspector in Delhi Police.

 

SSC SI Admit Card 2019

The admit card of SSC SI will be issued online by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) The admit card will be issued to the candidates who have successfully registered. Aspirants will be able to download admit card using roll number/registration number and date of birth. SSC SI 2019 admit card will contain information such as candidate’s details, date, time and venue of exam and exam day guidelines. Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre on the day of exam without which they will not be allowed to take the test.
