JKPSC KAS Result 2019 - Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) will release the result separately for preliminary, mains and Interview. Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) will release the result of preliminary exam in September 2019 (tentatively). The preliminary exam of JKPSC KAS will be qualifying in nature. JKPSC KAS result 2019 will be calculated out of 400 marks combining the marks of paper 1 and 2. The marks obtained by the candidates in JKPSC KAS 2019 preliminary exam will only be counted for the selection of mains exam. As per previous year notification, 1/ 3 rd the total number of candidates who appeared in the preliminary examination may be selected for the mains exam or twenty-five times the total number of vacancies to be filled in the various services and posts may be selected considering the lowest numbers of candidates in both.
The Main Examination of JKPSC KAS 2019 consist of written examination. The written examination will consist of eight 8 papers of conventional essay type. As per the exam pattern of JKPSC, English will be qualifying in nature whereas paper I-VII will be counted for the preparation of merit list. The total marks for JKPSC KAS result 2019 will be calculated out of 1750 marks.
The interview of JKPSC will be conducted for 250 marks. The final merit of JKPSC KAS will be prepared by adding the marks of candidates obtained in the mains exam and interview. Candidates will be allotted to the various services by marks obtained and preferences expressed by them for the various services and posts at the time of his/her submission of the application form for the main examination.

For each incorrect answer in JKPSC KAS 2019 preliminary exam 0.33 marks will be deducted.
If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer.
The preliminary exam will be conducted for 400 marks whereas the mains exam will be conducted for 1750 and the personality test will be conducted for 250.
The cutoff marks of JKPS will be released by the commission separately for preliminary, mains exam and final cutoff. Candidates have to qualify the cutoff released by the commission to be eligible to appear for next round of selection process.

A candidate has to attain a minimum of 21 years to attempt the KPSC exam as on the last date of the KAS
form. The maximum age limit for applying for KAS exam is 35 years. For ST,SC,OBC category people, the age limit changes upto 40 years with unlimited number of attempts allowed for the exam.

Jammu and Kashmir Public Commission (JKPSC) will release the recruitment notification for JKPSC KAS. Interested and eligible candidates can send the application form by online mode through the official website @jkpsc.nic.in. The applications will be accepted from May 2020 to June 2020. Candidates who are applying for this post should be a permanent resident of Jammu & Kashmir state. Candidates who are graduates in Bachelor’s Degree in any subject can apply for this post. Candidates will be recruited on the basis of the written test and interview.
The KPSC KAS recruitment for the year 2020 has not started yet and an official notification by the commission is not out as of now.It is expected to have a official notification release on May 2020 and it is speculated that the KAS prelims will be conducted by August 2020.You will notified with the other details after the official notification release.
