CTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the CTET exam 2025, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

For Paper I (Primary Stage - Classes I to V)

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). (or)

• Senior Secondary with 45% marks and passed/appearing in a 2-year D.El.Ed as per NCTE norms. (or)

• Graduation with 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

For Paper II (Elementary Stage - Classes VI to VIII)

• Graduation with 50% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed. (or)

• Graduation with 45% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed as per NCTE norms.
