APPSC AEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Eligibility – According to the APPSC AEE eligibility criteria, any applicant must possess the qualifications as detailed below, subject to various specifications in the relevant service rules. Educational qualifications for some posts are mentioned below:

AEE (Civil) in A.P PH & ME Department
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering of university in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or an Institution Recognized by the University Grants Commission /AICTE or pass in sections A and B of AMIE (India) examination in Civil Engineering.
AEE (Civil/Mech) in A.P Tribal Welfare Engineering Department
Must be a Graduate in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) from any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or equivalent qualification.

AEE (Civil) in A.P. Water Resources Department

Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or State Act or Institution Recognized by the University Grants Commission/All India Council for Technical Education or equivalent qualification.

AEE (Mech) in A.P. Water Resources Department

Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering of university in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/All India Council for Technical Education or equivalent qualification.

AEE (Civil/Mech) in A.P Panchayat Raj Engineering Service

Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering of a University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, or a Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution Recognized by the University Grants Commission or pass in sections A and B of AMIE examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Civil or Mechanical or AMIE and B.Sc. (Engg.) of Ranchi University or equivalent qualification.

AEE (Mech/Agrl.) in A.P Ground Water Department

Must possess a B.E. degree (Mechanical) or B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) of university or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or equivalent qualification.


Age - Only applicants above 18 years of age and below 40 years as on September 1 of the year are eligible to apply for APPSC AEE. The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable in following cases:

APPSC AEE 2022 Application Process

The application process of APPSC AEE includes the steps provided below:

STEP 1: Applicant had to fill the OTPR application to obtain ID Number. Candidates had to fill in their particulars very carefully as no changes after submission of the form will be entertained.

STEP 2: The applicant had to fill and submit the application form and click on the link with notification number and name, OTPR ID number and date of birth to proceed further. He/she had to verify the details as obtained from OTPR database displayed on the screen. If any details were to be changed, applicants had to go back to the website and use the Modify OTPR link. In addition to the details obtained from OTPR database, notification specific details such as examination city opted, eligibility and accepting declarations etc. are to be filled by the applicant. An application fee ID is generated and sent through the SMS/email after successful submission of application form, which is to be used for payment of fee.

STEP 3: Once the application fee ID is generated, select the payment of fee option for paying through either net banking/ credit card/ debit card or AP online centre.

STEP 4: After payment of fee, the PDF of application form was generated containing the particulars furnished by the applicant. The application ID number mentioned in the application form should be kept safely for future reference/correspondence.

APPSC AEE 2022 Preparation Tips

Applicants preparing for APPSC AEE must know the complete syllabus. They must allocate time for each paper separately so that no unit/topic is left behind. Meticulous planning and sticking to the plan is very much required for the exam preparation of APPSC AEE. Take short breaks. Make notes of all the important points you come across. APPSC AEE 2022 Exam Pattern

APPSC AEE Paper 1 Exam Pattern

APPSC AEE Paper 1 will include topics related to General Studies and Mental Ability. There will be a total of 150 questions of 1 mark each and the time allotted for this paper will be 150 minutes.

APPSC AEE Paper 2 Exam Pattern

APPSC AEE Paper II will include topics related to concerned subject - Civil & Mechanical (Common) or Electrical Engineering. There will be a total of 150 questions of 1 mark each and the time allotted for this paper will be 150 minutes.

APPSC AEE Paper 3 Exam Pattern

APPSC AEE Paper 3 will include topics from Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Candidates will be given 150 questions of 1 mark each. The time allotted to solve this paper too is 150 minutes.

APPSC AEE 2022 Mock Test

APPSC releases mock test to help candidates get familiar with the exam pattern, marking scheme of the original exam. It also helps them answer the questions given in the stipulated time thereby creating the real-exam situation. The applicant is facilitated with APPSC AEE mock test to acquaint with the computer base recruitment test.

The hall ticket of APPSC AEE can be downloaded by entering user ID and mobile number. The hall ticket of APPSC AEE mains has been released in online mode only and no communication in any other form was made in offline mode. It is important to note that candidates were not allowed to sit for the exam without the hall ticket and thus, this document is of utmost important. The admit card must also be retained for further reference.

After completion of each exam stage, the answer keys are hosted on the Commission's website and candidates can file objections, if any, within the specified period, with supportive documents towards his/her claim. The answer keys shall be finalized by the experts' group duly considering all the objections and selections shall be processed. Candidates must remember that no objections will be entertained after seven days from the date of publication of answer key.

APPSC will release the result of APPSC AEE (screening test) in the online mode. Based on the result for screening test, candidates are shortlisted for the online exam. Candidates can check their APPSC AEE result in online mode by visiting the official website.

Candidate as and when called for by the Commission to certificate verification, shall produce original documents. If candidate fails to produce the certificates if any and/or the particulars furnished in the application form do not tally with the original documents produced by the candidate, the candidature will be rejected/disqualified without any further correspondence. when will the application form of APPSC AEE or AE 2021 release ?

Hello,

The officials have not yet released the notification for APPSC AEE 2021. The APPSC AEE selection process was held in three stages. The first is the screening test and the second is the main exam. Candidates clearing these stages appeared for interview/document verification. The Commission will release a new notification for the year 2021 soon. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. The age limit for an applicant applying for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer should be between 18 and 42 years.

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission - APPSC will soon release the APPSC AEE 2020 exam dates. Aspirants can check the APPSC AEE exam schedule in the official notification. The dates have not yet been released and it will be released soon. Candidates can fill the APPSC AEE 2020 application form by visiting the APPSC official website psc.ap.gov.in. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information.

APPSC AE is an examination conducted by Andhra Pradesh public service commission to recruit various Executive Engineering posts

The first round is a screening test round to qualify for the mains

The first round is only a qualifying round and it consists of gk, mental ability ,core subject and cut off is calculated to your over all score  (out of 150)and not on your sections
