Applicants filling the SSC CHSL 2025 examination application form must first meet the eligibility criteria for the SSC CHSL exam as prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission. The details of SSC CHSL eligibility criteria 2025 for all the components of the exam are mentioned below:
Nationality
As per the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level 2025 notification, the aspirants applying for the SSC CHSL exam must be a citizen of India or must meet any of the below-mentioned nationality criteria.
Indian citizen or
Subject of Bhutan or
Subject of Nepal or
Tibetan refugee who moved to India, before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India, or
Person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention to permanently settling in India

SSC CHSL Age Criteria
As per the SSC CHSL age limit, applicants must be between the age group of 18 to 27 years as per the cutoff date prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission. 27 years is the upper age limit for the general category, Whereas reserved category candidates are given age relaxation in the upper age limit. Educational Qualification
SSC CHSL educational qualification is an important factor in determining the candidate's eligibility for the SSC CHSL 2025 exam. Those who have passed 12th standard can apply for the SSC CHSL examination. The educational qualification required for all SSC CHSL posts like Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’ in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India is almost the same. The 'speed of 15000 (Fifteen Thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer’ will be required for correct entry of words/ key depressions in DEO's Grade A in C& AG Department. The duration of the Test will be 15 (Fifteen) minutes and printed matter in English containing about 3700-4000 key-depressions would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the Computer. The passage to be entered in the computer may also be displayed on the computer screen. |
SSC CHSL Physical Standards

SSC CHSL Application Form 2025
The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CHSL 2025 application form online on the official website. Candidates who meet the SSC CHSL 2025 eligibility criteria can apply for the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level 2025 exam. The SSC CHSL application form 2025 can be only filled in online mode.
To apply for the CHSL examination candidates need to first register themselves on the SSC website and then complete the SSC CHSL application process. General and OBC category applicants need to pay Rs 100 as the fee to successfully submit the SSC application.

As per the SSC CHSL 2025 eligibility criteria :

Crucial Date : The age is calculated as of August 1, 2025.

Eligible Birth Dates : Candidates born between August 2, 1998, and August 1, 2007, are eligible.
Since your birthdate is July 11, 2007, you will turn 18 before August 1, 2025, making you eligible to apply for SSC CHSL 2025.

Minimum Age:
18 years
Maximum Age:
27 years
The crucial date for age calculation is usually 1st August of the exam year.
SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria :-
- If SSC CHSL 2025 notification is released in June 2025 , the crucial date for age eligibility will likely be 1st August 2025 .
- Since your DOB is 18-12-2007 , you will not be 18 years old on 1st August 2025 .
- You will turn 18 on 18th December 2025 , but by that time, the age calculation date (1st August 2025) will have already passed.
So, you cannot apply for SSC CHSL 2025 because you will not meet the minimum age requirement as of 1st August 2025 .
