LIC ADO 2024 application form is released in online mode. Aspiring candidates can fill the online application form till its last date. Along with the release of LIC ADO application 2024, the authority has also released the official notification form the same.

LIC ADO 2024 for Prelims exam will be conducted for candidates who successfully apply followed by the mains examination.

LIC ADO Exam Pattern 2024 - (Post/Department-Wise)

1. Candidates applying for the post of Open Market category, have to appear in Prelims and Mains exam.

2. Candidates applying for Agents and Employee categories have to directly take the Mains exam. They need not take the prelims exam.

3. The prelims and mains exams will be held in online mode.

4. There is one difference in terms of section when it comes to Agents and Employee categories. Candidates applying for Agents will have to take the mains exam in Elements of Insurance

5. And Marketing of Insurance, while candidates aspiring for Employee category are needed to take a different section in the mains exam, which is Practice and Principle of Insurance Marketing.

6. Each correct answer will be given 1 mark. There is no negative marking in LIC ADO 2024.

7. After qualifying the mains exam, candidates have to appear in interview followed by a pre-recruitment medical exam.

What is the LIC ADO Exam Pattern 2024 for Open Market Category?

Exam Pattern of LIC ADO 2024 (Prelims)

Note: The duration of the exam is 1 hour and all subjects aside from English can be attempted in both English and Hindi

The prelims exam of LIC ADO 2024 will have three sections with 35 (Reasoning Ability), 35 (Numerical Ability) and 30 (English) questions respectively against 100 marks. The exam pattern of LIC ADO for prelims reflects that each of the three sections has to be completed in 20 minutes only, which brings the total time for prelims to 1 hour. Except for English sections, the rest of both sections will be conducted in English and Hindi mediums.

Note: It must be noted that ** English Language test is only qualifying in nature. This means that the marks of English Language will not be considered for the ranking.

Also, LIC will filter candidates, 20 times the number of total category-wise vacancies (subject to availability) for mains exam from the prelims.

What is the Exam Pattern of LIC ADO 2024 (Mains)?

LIC ADO Exam Pattern 2024 for Mains

Unlike prelims, there’s no sectional time limit for mains exam. Candidates have to complete all the three sections in 2 hours or 120 minutes. Each of the three sections will have 50 questions each for 150 marks. Also, all three sections can be attempted in Hindi or English by the candidates.

Check below what all is different in the exam pattern of mains exam of LIC ADO for Agents and Employee. The only difference for both the categories is one section. Candidates applying for Agents have to take the exam for Elements of Insurance and Marketing of Insurance, while the candidates interested for Employee category must take the exam for Practice and Principle of Insurance Marketing.

LIC ADO Test Pattern 2024 - What are the Important Points to Know About LIC ADO?

1. Only the marks obtained by the candidates in the mains examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview, while marks secured in mains examination+Interview will be considered for preparing the final merit list.

2. LIC reserves the right to fix the eligibility standards in order to restrict the candidates to be called for the interview and also fix the minimum marks to qualify in the interview. The maximum marks in the interview are 37.

3. If two or more candidates secure the similar marks, then the merit order of such candidates shall be given as per the aggregate marks in mains and interview and further as per their additional post-graduation qualification (i.e. the person with the higher educational qualification will be placed higher in the merit order). If still the tie is not broken, then the merit order will be decided on the basis of age, (i.e. elder candidate in age will be placed higher in merit order).

LIC ADO 2024 Exam Pattern (pre-recruitment Medical Examination)

The selected candidate will be appointed as Apprentice Development Officers, subject to them being found medically fit by the Medical Examiner authorized by LIC for the purpose.

LIC ADO Admit Card 2024

Life Insurance Corporation of India is expected to release the admit card of LIC ADO 2024 separately for prelims, mains, interview and pre-medical examination. The LIC ADO admit card for prelims examination will be available for registered candidates from June 29.

However, the dates for the release of the LIC ADO 2024 for mains exam have not been announced yet. Candidates can download their admit card of LIC ADO 2024 by visiting the official website and clicking on the admit card link and entering their roll number/registration number and date of birth/password.
