Hello Aspirant , Hope your doing great . As per your query , A Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university or institute with a minimum of 60% in mathematics at the 12th-grade level or A bachelor's degree in statistics is one of the degree-level studies in any field.  You will eligible for the exam.

In SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) exams, eligibility criteria are crucial for determining your application status and post allocation. Here’s what you need to know about applying for the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) position with 59 marks in Mathematics in 12th grade:

Eligibility for JSO Position:

  • Mathematics Requirement : The SSC CGL eligibility criteria for JSO typically require candidates to have at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the 12th grade level or a degree in Statistics. Your 59 marks, which fall just short of the 60% threshold, might affect your eligibility for this specific post.

What If You Apply Anyway?

  • Application Status : If you apply for the JSO post without meeting the eligibility criteria, your application for this post is likely to be rejected. SSC CGL applications are screened based on eligibility criteria, and if you do not meet them, you will not be considered for the JSO position.
  • Other Posts : However, if you do not qualify for the JSO role, your application might still be considered for other posts in SSC CGL for which you meet the eligibility criteria. Your overall application will be evaluated for other available positions.

Steps to Take:

  1. Verify Eligibility : Check the latest SSC CGL notification or contact SSC for specific eligibility details and any possible exceptions.
  2. Apply for Other Posts : Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for other posts in SSC CGL and select them accordingly in your application.

while you may be ineligible for the JSO post due to your 12th-grade marks, you can still apply for other positions within SSC CGL for which you meet the criteria. Ensure to verify all eligibility requirements before submitting your application.

hope this helps you!!

Hi Nidhi,

For the SSC CGL form, your passing year should be the year when you completed all requirements for your graduation, including clearing any backlogs. Since you cleared your backlog in 2023 and your final marksheet date is June 24, 2024, you should mention 2024 as your passing year .

This is because your degree is considered complete only when all subjects, including backlogs, are cleared and you have been awarded the final marksheet.

Hope it helps!

Greetings,
If you do not see "General" category option in additional category section during registration you should typically select "Unreserved" (UR) or any similar term that denotes the general category.

  • Check for "General" or "Open" : Sometimes, these terms are used interchangeably.
  • Refer to Instructions : Look at the guidelines or instructions provided on the registration page for clarification.
  • Contact Support : If it’s still unclear, consider reaching out to the SSC helpdesk or support team for assistance.

I hope this information is helpful to you.

Hello Sakshi,

First of all Don't worry.

When filling out the SSC CGL form and asked for the roll number or roll code, you can use the "Seat Number" mentioned on your SSC (Maharashtra Board) certificate. The "Seat Number" is equivalent to the roll number or roll code for the purposes of the form.

Here are the steps you can follow:

  1. Locate the Seat Number : Find the "Seat Number" on your SSC certificate. This is typically a unique number assigned to you during your exams.
  2. Enter the Seat Number : When the form asks for your roll number or roll code, enter this "Seat Number" exactly as it appears on your certificate.
  3. Confirm the Format : Ensure that the format you enter matches any specifications provided on the SSC CGL form (e.g., number of digits, any special characters).

If you encounter any specific formatting issues or the form does not accept your entry, consider these additional steps:

  1. Check Instructions : Refer to the detailed instructions provided in the form or on the SSC official website for any specific guidelines related to Maharashtra Board students.
  2. Contact Support : If you are still unsure or face issues, contact the SSC helpdesk or customer support for clarification. They can provide guidance on what to enter in this field.
  3. Check Forums/Groups : Look for advice from other candidates who might have faced similar issues on educational forums or social media groups dedicated to SSC exam preparation.

Hope it helps!
