SSC JE 2019 – The official notification for SSC Junior Engineer (JE) 2019 has released on August 13, 2019, at official website in online mode. Candidates can fill the application form for SSC JE 2019 from August 13 to September 12, 2019. Applicants whose age is between 18 to 32 years and have degree or diploma in engineering can fill the SSC JE 2019 application form. According to the selection process of SSC JE, candidates for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical) will be selected on the basis of their performance in Paper I and II. In 2017, as many as 5,69,930 candidates had appeared in the Paper I exam, out of which 5855 candidates had qualified for Paper II. Know below the details related to SSC JE 2019 recruitment exam. The Commission has released the application form of SSC JE 2019 on August 13. They can also upload a scanned image of left thumb impression instead of ID numbers if they don't have amy. SSC JE 2019 application form can be filled in two parts. In Part I, candidates have to register for the exam before beginning with the application process. In Part II of SSC JE 2019 application form, candidates have to pay the examination fees and upload scanned images of photograph and signature. Fee is Rs 100 which can be paid through SBI Challan/Net banking/Credit/Debit Cards. In case of any discrepancies in the data filled during one-time registration, can be edited before filling the application form. Candidates are only allowed to edit information like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender and roll number of matriculation. The exam centres of SSC JE list out the name of cities where the computer based test of Paper I and II will be conducted. SSC JE will be conducted across 41 cities spread throughout the country. Candidates have to enter their choice of SSC JE 2019 andf 2019 exam centres while filling the application form. The exam centres once exercised cannot be changed under any circumstances. Therefore, candidates are advised to select their SSC JE exam centres 2018/2019 carefully. The names of few exam cities are mentioned below.

The admit card of SSC JE will be issued in two phases – Paper I and Paper II. First, the examination authority will release SSC JE admit card for candidates appearing in the Paper I exam. The admit card of Paper I will be issued to only those candidates whose applications will be accepted by SSC. Candidates qualifying the Paper I exam will be issued SSC JE admit card of Paper II. The admit cards of both the stages will be issued two weeks before the date of examination. Details like name, roll number, registration number, date of birth, category, photograph and signature, date, time and exam centre will be mentioned in the admit card. Along with SSC JE admit card 2019, candidates have to carry one photo-identity proof and three passport sized photographs.
The exam pattern of SSC JE gives details regarding number of sections, mode of exam, marking scheme and time duration. According to SSC JE exam pattern, Paper I comprises 200 objective type questions from General Intelligence Reasoning, General Awareness and Part A (General Engineering – Civil and Structural)/Part B General Engineering (Electrical)/Part C General Engineering (Mechanical). The Paper I carries 200 marks with 0.25 marks for wrong answers. Paper II will consist of conventional type questions of engineering discipline. This paper carries 300 marks and is held for 2 hours. The answer key of SSC JE will be available after the examination. SSC JE answer key 2018/2019 will be released for Paper I only as Paper II carries conventional type questions. Along with the answer key, SSC will also release the response sheets of candidates. SSC JE answer key will be available online and candidates have to login into their respective accounts using roll number, date of birth and exam date. Candidates having an objection with regard to the answers in SSC JE answer key 2019 can submit representations online after paying Rs 100 per answer.
The result of SSC JE will be declared in three stages – Paper I, Paper II and Final. The commission will first announce the result of Paper I. Candidates qualifying the Paper I exam by securing the prescribed cutoff will be eligible for appearing in Paper II. Based on Paper II marks, candidates will be called for document verification. The final result will be declared after document verification. Final selection of candidates will be done based on their performance in Paper I and II. SSC JE 2019 result of all the stages will be available online. The names roll numbers and category of qualified candidates will be made available in PDF file. The marks of candidates will be released a few days after the declaration of result.
The cutoff of SSC JE is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to secure to qualify the exam and become eligible for appearing in the next round of selection process. SSC JE 2019 cutoff will be released for Paper I, II and final allotment. On the basis of cutoff of Paper I, candidates will be selected for Paper II. SSC decides the Paper II cutoff to call candidates for document verification. Candidates are provided allotment based on the final cutoff. The final cutoff will be calculated based on the marks scored in Paper I and II by last qualified candidates. SSC JE 2019 cutoff is released category-wise and post-wise along with the result.
