Candidates have to fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by APPSC to successfully complete the application process. APPSC eligibility criteria 2019 are as follows:

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission had released the application form of APPSC Group 1 exam 2019 on January 7. The application form was available in the online mode. The last date to submit APPSC Group 1 application form 2019 was January 28, 2019. Candidates had to pay the fee by January 27 (11:59 pm). The application fee is Rs. 250 while candidates will need to pay additional Rs. 120 as examination fee. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC categories are exempted from paying the examination fee.
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has provided the exam pattern of APPSC Group 1 along with the notification. APPSC Group 1 prelims is a screening test and comprise only objective type questions. Candidates qualifying prelims will be shortlisted for mains exam, which comprises of a written test and interview. The written exam of mains will contain conventional type questions. Number of questions
The hall ticket of APPSC Group 1 is issued in three stages – prelims, mains, and interview. The admit card of screening exam was released on May 17, 2019. To download the hall ticket, candidates have to enter user ID/registration number and password. APPSC Group 1 hall ticket 2019 contains details including the name of the candidate, roll number, registration number, category, parent’s name, exam date, time and venue, photograph and exam day guidelines. On the day of an exam, candidates have to carry one photo-identity proof along with the admit card.
Andhra Pradesh PSC conducts APPSC Group 1 in three stages – prelims, mains and interview/ oral test. The prelims is a screening test and is, therefore, qualifying in nature. Candidates securing the qualifying marks in the prelims exam will be selected for mains. On the basis of marks secured in the mains, candidates will be shortlisted to appear for Interview. After the conduct of Interview, the Commission will prepare the final cut off of the exam based on aggregate marks of mains exam and interview. Candidates obtaining the minimum cut off or more will be recruited for the applied posts of Group 1 services.
