The APPSC Group 1 2020 notification consists of all the important information related to the APPSC Group 1 exam, like the application form dates, eligibility criteria, exam dates, exam pattern, syllabus etc. Candidates are advised to check the official notification before filling the APPSC Group 1 forms. APPSC is expected to release the application form of APPSC Group 1 exam 2020 on January 7, 2021. The application form will be available in online mode. The last date to submit APPSC Group 1 application form 2020 will be January 28, 2021. Candidates will have to pay the application fee by January 27 (11:59 pm). The application fee is Rs. 250 while candidates will have to pay an additional Rs. 120 as the examination fee. APPSC also exempts OBC, SC/ST candidates from paying the examination fee.
APPSC mentions the APPSC Group 1 2020 exam pattern in the notification. APPSC Group 1 preliminary exam is a screening test and comprises only objective type questions. Candidates qualifying this stage will be eligible to appear for the mains exam. The mains exam comprises a written test as well as the interview. The written exam of mains will contain conventional type questions. Candidates can check the complete APPSC Group 1 exam pattern 2020 from the table mentioned below.

APPSC conducts the Group 1 exam in three stages – preliminary or screening, mains and interview round. The preliminary is a screening test and is qualifying in nature. Candidates scoring cut off marks in the preliminary exam will be selected for the mains. On the basis of marks scored by candidates in the mains exam, they will be selected for the Interview. After the interview round is conducted, APPSC will prepare the final cut off based on aggregate marks of the mains exam and interview. Candidates scoring the minimum cut off or will be recruited to be the Group 1 posts as released in the APPSC Group 1 notification.
The admit card of APPSC Group 1 2020 will be issued separately for all the three stages – preliminary or screening, mains, and interview round. To download the admit card for the screening test, candidates will have to use their credentials - user ID/registration number and password. APPSC Group 1 hall ticket 2020 contains important details like details: the name of the candidate, roll number, registration number, category, parent’s name, exam date & time and the exam centre venue, scanned photograph and signature and the exam day guidelines. Candidates will have to carry their valid photo ID along with the admit card.
The age limit of APPSC Group 1 is 18-42 years.
