TNPSC Group 2 Result 2025 - TNPSC will declare the TNPSC Group 2 2025 result in online mode at tnpsc.gov.in. TNPSC Group 2 2025 result will be declared separately for each stage. The TNPSC Group 2 result 2025 will be declared in PDF format and will contain the roll numbers of all the qualified candidates. Candidates qualified the TNPSC group 2 exam will be called for the main exam.

TNPSC Group 2 2025 Result will be declared in three stages – Preliminary, Mains and Final. All the stages of TNPSC Group 2 result are explained here.
TNPSC Group 2 prelims exam 2025 is a screening test only. The marks scored by candidates in the preliminary stage are only considered to shortlist them for the mains exam. Marks in the prelims exam are not considered to prepare the merit list. According to one of the previous year’s TNPSC Group 2 notification, candidates 10 times the number of total vacancies released that year were selected to appear in the mains examination. The qualifying marks of the preliminary exam is approximately 85-90 for all categories.
Candidate’s marks in the mains exam will be calculated out of 300 marks. Candidates will have to score the minimum qualifying marks in the mains exam to be eligible for the final round which is the oral test. The marks scored by candidates in the mains exam will be considered for preparing the final merit list. Candidates who qualify the exam as per the TNPSC group 2 mains result 2025 will be called for Document verification.
TNPSC Group 2 final selection is done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the mains examination and Oral Test. Candidates will be allotted marks (for the final result) out of 340 (300 for mains written exam and 40 for Oral Test).
Candidates qualifying the TNPSC Group 2 mains will be called for DV (Document Verification). Candidates who clear the DV process will be called for Oral Test. Based on their performance in the mains exam and TNPSC Group 2 Oral Test, they will be called for counselling post which they will be allotted posts and departments as per the merit list.
After conducting all the stages, the TNPSC Group 2 final merit list will be released based on the performance of candidates in the main and interview. Only candidates listed in the final merit list will be called for the final appointment.
The qualifying marks of TNPSC Group 2 2025 is prescribed by the exam conducting authorities. To qualify the preliminary and mains exam, candidates must have to score more than the minimum qualifying marks – 90 for prelims and 102 for mains for the exam conducted in 2018. These qualifying marks were for all categories.
The TNPSC Group 2 result 2025 is expected to be declared online in the form of PDF format.
Yes, the TNPSC Group 2 notification is going to release on July 15, 2025.
The question papers are allowed to be taken by the candidates after the examination is over. The tentative TNPSC Group 2 2025 answer key will be published by TNPSC within a week’s time.
If any candidate raises objections over any tentative Answer key, they will have to write by post their objections with grounds and evidence within one week. Such objections will be evaluated by the expert committee and the final answer keys will be released later.
The merit list is prepared taking into consideration the marks scored by candidates in the mains as well as the oral test. the merit list will be published on the TNPSC website as well as the TNPSC notice Board. The community, sex and special category of the candidates will also be published enabling the candidate to arrive at the status of their selection.
