Instructions to be followed by candidates using a scribe.

  • At their own expense, candidates would have to pay for their own scribes.

  • The candidate must carry to the examination centre the scribe declaration issued by IBPS.

  • Candidates using a scribe would be qualified every hour for a compensatory duration of 20 minutes.

Instructions for Visually Impaired candidates

  • The magnified content facility would not be eligible for blind applicants who use a scribe.

  • In magnified fonts, visually impaired candidates with vision loss of not less than 40 percent may request to see the contents of the test. These applicants qualified for an additional 20 minutes of compensatory time.

Instructions for candidates with Intellectual Disability (ID)

Applicants with more than 40 percent intellectual disability (autism, unique learning disability, intellectual disability, and mental illness) will receive an additional 20 minutes per hour of review, whether or not they are in the service of a scribe.

Instructions for candidates with locomotor disability and cerebral palsy

A compensatory time of 20 minutes will be given where writing extremity is affected (minimum of 40% impairment)

IBPS PO EWS Category: Important points

Candidates who fall under the following points will only be considered for filling the form under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories:

  • Persons who are not subject to SC/ST/OBC reservations and whose family has an annual gross income below Rs.8.00 lakh

  • Income shall cover all the sources, i.e. salaries, agriculture, business, occupation, etc., for the financial year previous to the year in which the application form is completed.

However, candidates owning the following assets are excluded from the EWS categories, irrespective of the family income.

  • 5 acres of Agricultural Land and above

  • Residential flat of 1000 sq. ft. and above;

  • Residential plot of 100 sq. yards and above in notified municipalities

  • Residential plot of 200 sq. yards and above in areas other than the notified municipalities.

IBPS PO Application Form 2025

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will release the IBPS PO application form on the official website. Completing the IBPS PO application form 2025 requires the following steps, such as registration, filling in the information, uploading the scanned picture and signature file, paying the application fee, etc. The IBPS PO 2025 admit card will only be issued to candidates who have successfully completed the application form.
