TN TRB Assistant Professor 2024 Exam - Dates, Application, Admit Card, Syllabus & Pattern

Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board will conduct the TN TRB Assistant Professor 2024 exam for 4000 Assistant Professors for Government Arts & Science Colleges and Colleges of Education. To apply for TN TRB Assistant Professor 2024, candidates are required to fill and submit the application form from March 28 to April 29, 2024, 05:00 PM. Registered candidates have to appear in a certificate verification followed by an Interview. The selected candidates will be on the Pay Scale: Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400 – Level 10.

Scheme of Selection: The Scheme for selection involves ranking and shortlisting of candidates followed by preparation of rank cum communal roster for certificate verification and interview. The candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3. Marks will be awarded to all candidates based on the certificates uploaded along with the Application Forms as per criteria which has to be confirmed/finalized after due verification by the certificate verification team and also the marks awarded during the time of Interview, as per G.O.Ms.No.412, Higher Education (F2) Department, Dated 07.12.2009, and G.O.(Ms) No.32, Higher Education (F2) Department, Dated 08.03.2013 as follows :

TN TRB Assistant Professor 2024 Eligibility Criteria

TRB has prescribed the eligibility criteria for the post of Assistant Professors / Assistant Professors. Candidates have to fulfil the TN TRB Assistant Professor 2024 Eligibility Criteria such as age and educational qualifications as mentioned below:

TN TRB Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates should not have completed 57 years as on 01-07-2024 as the age of superannuation is 58 years.

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a master's degree in Law in the preferred subject for which they have applied

• Applicants must pass from any recognised University with not less than 55 percent marks and a good academic record. Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates must possess not less than 50 percent marks in the relevant subjects

• Must have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or an accredited test.

• However, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, as amended 2016 (3rdAmendment) shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET or an accredited Test.

• It is mandatory for candidates to get enrolled as an advocate in the Bar Council. However, preference shall be given to persons who have actual experience at the Bar or teaching experience.
