OSSTET 2019 - Board of Secondary Education, Odisha conducts Odisha Secondary School Teachers Eligibility Test (OSSTET) for category I and II. OSSTET 2019 category 1 include Education teachers (Science/ Arts, Hindi/Classical/Sanskrit/ Urdu/ Telugu) whereas category 2 includes Physical Education teacher. The eligibility criteria of OSSTET varies as per the posts. Candidates who secure the minimum eligibility criteria will be eligibile to apply for the exam. OSSTET 2019 notification will be tentatively released in September 2019.
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis for Paper I and II. Those candidates who will apply for category 1 will have to appear in Paper I whereas for candidates who will apply for category 2 will have to appear for paper 2. Candidates who wish to appear for OSSTET 2019 must check the eligibility criteria which includes nationality, educational qualification, ability to read and write Odia. The commission will release the application form of OSSTET in online mode. The new candidates will have to generate new user id and password whereas the registered can fill the application form by entering user id and password. The application form can be filled in five sections - filling up personal details, eligibility details, educational details and signing the declaration check-box. General/SEBC category candidates will have to pay Rs. 500 whereas SC/ST category candidates will have to pay Rs. 300. The application fee of OSSTET 2019 can be paid online or offline through Net banking/ATM card and cash payment through bank challan. Enter the name, email ID, mobile number, password and click on Submit button.
The OTP for the verification will be sent on the registered email id and click on ‘submit button’.

After 12 hours, candidates will have to fill other details.
Enter personal details and upload photograph, document and certificates if required.
Enter other required fields ‘Eligibility Details’ and ‘Submit’and proceed to ‘Educational Details’.
Fill details related to academic/career details and move to “Declaration”.
Check the declaration and submit the application form.

OSSTET will be held across different districts of Odisha. Candidates will be able to check the examination centre after downloading the admit card. Some of OSSTET exam centres 2019 are given.
The admit card of OSSTET 2019 will be available online for Paper 1 and 2. Candidates will be able to download OSSTET admit card 2019 enter registered email id and password. Candidates will be able to download the admit card till the day of examination. Only those candidates whose application will be accepted by the commission will be issued admit card the exam. OSSTET admit card 2019 will have information related to the exam such as the name of candidates, roll number, gender, date of birth, date and time of test, exam centre details, instructions etc.
The exam provides details about different sections, marking scheme, number of questions, duration etc. OSSTET 2019 exam pattern differs for candidates appearing for category I and I. Those candidates who will apply for category I, have to appear for paper 1 which is divided into different sub-sections. Candidates applying for category II will have to appear for paper 2. As per the exam pattern of OSSTET 2019, paper 1 comprises four sections. The section I is Odia whereas section II is English where 20 questions each section will be asked in the exam. Section III of paper 1 is stream specific carrying 60 marks and paper IV will be common for all the posts under category I. The answer key od OSSTET will be available for paper 1 and 2 online. First, the commission will release the provisional answer key of OSSTET 2019. In case of any discrepancy in the answer key, candidates will be able to raise objections by submitting the Rs 500 per questions. The commission will then release the final answer key by getting it confirmed from the experts.
The result of OSSTET 2019 will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in paper 1 and 2. The result will be available online. Candidates can check the results by logging into the official website with their email ID and password. Candidates who will qualify the OSSTET 2019 will be issued the passing certificate.
The exam conducting authority will release the cut off of OSSTET 2019 separately for paper 1 and 2. Candidates will have to secure above or equal to minimum qualifying marks released by the commission. The cut off may be available post-wise and category.
