MP SET Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2020: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) releases the MP SET 2020 exam pattern and syllabus along with its notification at the official website. The eligibility test, as per the exam pattern and syllabus of MP SET 2020 consists of a single stage online test with two papers – Paper I (compulsory) and Paper II (optional). The MP SET exam pattern and syllabus 2020 will let a candidate have an overall idea about the scheme and mode of exam, structure of question paper, details and weightage of topics. The preparation of an aspirant without knowing the MP SET 2020 exam pattern and syllabus will be incomplete. There are two papers in the test, as per the MP SET 2020 exam pattern. Both the papers are held in online mode. The exam pattern of MP SET 2020 notifies that both the papers will consist of objective type questions. The test for Paper I, according to MP SET exam pattern 2020 will be conducted for 50 questions of 2 marks each. The questions will be generic in nature and will test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. As per the MP SET 2020 exam pattern, Paper II will consist of questions based on the subject selected by the candidates during their application. There will be 100 questions of 2 marks each in Paper II. It is to be noted that no negative marks are cut for incorrect answers marked in MP SET 2020 exam.

Paper I, as per the MP SET 2020 exam pattern, is conducted to test the general ability of the candidates to assess their teaching/research skill. The paper has 50 multiple choice questions of 2 marks each. In paper I of MP SET, candidates are asked question from the following sections:

General awareness
Paper II of MP SET exam contains 100 multiple choice questions of 2 marks each. The questions are asked from one of the 19 subjects opted by the candidates during their application. As per the MP SET 2020 exam pattern, candidates need to choose the subject which they have studied during their post-graduation.
