Except subjects like English, Punjabi, Mathematics and Music wherein candidates reflected the highest pass percentage in Level II of HTET, Home Science, Physical Education, Urdu and Arts reflected a low pass percentage, however, far better than candidates who took Sanskrit, Science, Hindi and Social Studies Papers.

In Home Science paper, 945 candidates appeared, while only 103 could pass, which is 10.90 percent of the total candidates who had taken the test. The subsequent paper with respect to the pass percentage is Physical Education (PE) where 9.64 percent of the appeared candidates could qualify the exam. 5032 candidates had appeared in PE paper in 2017, while just 485 made it to the cut off. The 119 qualified candidates translate into 5.31 pass percentage.

HTET Result 2017 - Sanskrit, Science, Hindi and Social Studies reflect least pass percentage

Now, Sanskrit, Science, Hindi and Social Studies are the subjects wherein the pass percentage is quite shocking. Candidates, who took these papers in 2017 reflected the lowest pass percentage, which is even as low as 3 percent or 1 percent. Where Sanskrit paper saw only 2.93 qualified candidates, the pass percentage of Science remained at 1.97 percent. 11238 candidates appeared in Sanskrit paper, while only 329 could qualify it. Hello,

It is a bit difficult to say as you have not mentioned your board for 12th standard. I assume if the subject was not in your best of 5 or 4 based on your board then no I do not think it would affect you because generally it doesn't . Moreover even if you failed  they would conduct a supplementary examination within a month which you can give and improve yourself. And as for the teaching exam it also depends on which subject you are giving your test if it has no connection to the subject you failed in then I do not think it would affect you.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.
