MH SET Result 2020 - SPPU has announced the result of Maharashtra SET 2020 on the official website - setexam.unipune.ac.in on April 7 2021. MH SET was conducted on December 27, 2020. Earlier it was supposed to be held on June 28 but postponed due to COVID 19. Candidates have to now log in using their roll/ registration number, name, date of birth, and mobile number in order to check their MH SET 2020 result. The exam authorities have released the MH SET 2020 scorecard along with the MH SET result. Details like the candidates’ name, roll number, registration number, exam date, category, marks obtained by the candidates, and category wise cutoff will be mentioned on MH SET result 2020.

The exam authorities mentioned in the official notification that 6% of the candidates who appear for MH SET exam 2020 will be considered qualified in the exam given that they score minimum qualifying marks. Last year, a total of 5415 candidates qualified which was 6.78% of the candidates who took the exam. A total of 79879 candidates appeared for the exam in the year 2019 while 62404 candidates appeared for MH SET 2018 out of which 4067 qualified.

Follow the steps given below to check the result of MH SET 2020 -
Step 1: Click on the MH SET 2020 result link
Step 2: Select the date of the exam and mark ‘With Marks’ or ‘Without Marks’
Step 3: MH SET login window will appear on the screen
Step 4: Enter your roll number, name, DOB, and registered mobile number
Step 5: Click on the ‘Search Result’ button
Step 6: Your result will be displayed on the screen
Step 7: Download and save your MH SET result for future references.

The exam authorities declare the result of Maha SET and calculate the scores on the basis of the following points -
MH SET Minimum Qualifying Marks
Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks or more are shortlisted in the MH SET result. The minimum qualifying marks are predetermined in the official notification as per the category of the candidates. Candidates can check the category-wise minimum qualifying marks from the table below.

The exam body mentions in the official notification that only 6% of the appearing candidates qualify for the exam. In order to qualify for the exam, candidates have to score at least the above-mentioned qualifying marks and the top 6% are selected.
The formula provided below is used to calculate the number of candidates category-wise and subject-wise -
No. of qualifying candidates in a subject and category = (No. of candidates who fulfilled minimum eligibility in that subject from a category) ✖ (No. of slots available under that category) ➗ Total no. of candidates from that category who fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria in all subjects
Candidates who are shortlisted as per the result have to undergo a document verification process. Those who have all the right documents are issued eligibility certificates using which they can apply to be Assistant Professors in universities across the state of Maharashtra.
Given below is the list of documents that the candidates have to produce to the exam body within one month of the declaration of MH result -
Final year mark sheet of the master's degree or P.G. Diploma or equivalent examination.
Marriage certificate/ gazetted copy (in case of any change in name).
Caste certificate/ validity certificate issued by the competent authority from Maharashtra/ Goa, in support of their claim.
Valid non creamy layer certificate for OBC/ SBC/ DT(A)/ NT(B)/ NT(C)/ NT(D) category candidates.
Medical certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format in case of visually or physically handicapped candidates
Transgender and/ or orphan certificate (if applicable)
Candidates who are able to produce all the required documents while the document verification stage will be issued eligibility certificates. Candidates who qualify the test for the eligibility of Assistant Professor will be governed by the rules and regulations for the recruitment of Assistant Professor of the concerned Universities/ Colleges/ State Governments, as the case may be. The eligibility certificates will be available on the official website. To download the MH SET eligibility certificates, candidates will have to log in using their roll number, name, and date of birth.

Candidates can check the result statistics of MH SET 2019 and 2018 for reference. MH SET result statistics include the number of candidates who appeared for the exam and the number of candidates who qualified.

The exam authorities will release the cutoff marks along with MH SET 2020 result for each subject and each category separately. MH SET cutoff marks are the marks obtained by the last shortlisted candidate. Candidates who score the cutoff marks or more will be considered qualified and will be eligible to appear for document verification. MH SET 2020 cutoff will be released in the form of a PDF file. The answer key of MH SET was released by the exam authorities on the official website on March 02, 2021. First, a provisional MH SET answer key was released. Candidates were able to raise objections on the provisional answer key if they find any of the answers incorrect. A final answer key of MH SET 2020 was released after taking into consideration all the objections made by the candidates on the provisional answer key. MH SET result 2020 is prepared on the basis of the final answer key. Candidates can use the MH SET answer key to calculate their possible scores before the result has been declared.

Hello Dear,
In my view, both are the best. State PSC conducts exam for recruitment of Group A & B and being a Deputy Superintendent of Police. Everybody knows the power of these posts.
As compared to PSC, SSC CGL recruits only Group B and Group C posts. So you will not get any chance here for Group A post. By promotion you can become Group A. CBI officer from SSC CGL is a group B post.
