CAPF 2019 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had conducted UPSC CAPF written exam on August 18, 2019. Candidates can check the unofficial answer key released by coaching institutes for sets of test booklets. With the help of CAPF 2019 answer key, candidates can match the number of correct and incorrect answers. The result of CAPF is expected to be released in October 2019. Candidates who will qualify the written exam will be eligibile to appear for the second round of the selection process. UPSC conducts CAPF exam for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). For the year 2019, UPSC has released 323 vacancies.

CAPF Admit Card 2019

UPSC had released the admit of CAPF on July 24, 2019. Candidates can download CAPF admit card 2019 by either entering registration ID or roll number and date of birth. The admit card contains details like candidates’ name, father’s name, date of birth, examination centre code, test centre, reporting timings etc. CAPF admit card 2019 has been issued to those candidates whose applications was accepted by UPSC. The admit card is released separately for written exam, PST/PST and interview.

CAPF Application form 2019

The application form of CAPF 2019 was released on April 24. Candidates could fill the application form till May 20, 2019. The last day to pay the application fee is May 20.

CAPF application form 2019 can be filled in two parts – part 1 and 2. In Part 1, candidates must fill their basic details like name, father’s name, educational qualification etc. In Part 2 of application form, candidates must pay the requisite application fees, upload photograph and signature and submit the application form. General and OBC candidates must pay Rs. 200 for the application fee while female, SC/ST are exempted from fee payment.

CAPF 2019 Exam Centre

The written exam of CAPF will be conducted across 41 cities in India. Candidates applying for CAPF 2019 application form must select the exam centres as per their preference. To get the preferred exam centres candidates must apply early as there will be ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the centres, except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. The allotment of CAPF 2019 exam centres will be done on the first-come-first-serve basis, and once the capacity of a particular centre will be attained, the same will be frozen. CAPF Exam Pattern 2019

The exam pattern of CAPF 2019 will be prescribed by UPSC. CAPF exam pattern 2019 will provide details like the total number of questions, time duration, marking scheme, and number of sections. As per the exam pattern, CAPF 2019 written exam consists of two papers.

Paper 1 of CAPF will be general ability and intelligence while paper 2 will be of general studies, essay and comprehension. Shortlisted candidates in the written exam will be called for Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests followed by Interview/ Personality test.

CAPF Syllabus 2019

The syllabus of CAPF will be released along with the notification. CAPF syllabus 2019 comprises topics like current events, general science, general mental ability etc. for paper 1 (General Ability and Intelligence). The topics like précis writing, developing counter arguments, simple grammar and other aspects of language testing will be asked in paper 2 (General Studies, Essay and Comprehension). CAPF Result 2019

The result of written exam will be released in November 2019. Candidates will have download the result pdf and check their roll number. CAPF result 2019 will be released in online mode only. Candidates who will qualify the written exam will be eligibile to appear for PST/PET which will be the second stage of the selection process. Candidates who will qualify the Medical Standards Tests will be called for Interview/Personality Test. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and Interview/Personality Test.

CAPF Cutoff 2019
The cutoff of CAPF will be determined by UPSC. Candidates appearing for CAPF 2019 will have to secure minimum qualifying marks to be eligible to appear for next round of selection process.

The cutoff will be released in two parts - part 1 will be for written examination and part 2 will be for combined written exam and interview. Candidates will have to qualify each stage of the selection process for the final recruitment. Check the previous years CAPF cutoff below.

CAPF Selection Process 2019
The selection process of CAPF includes three stages - written exam, PET/PST and Medical examination and Interview/Personality Test. The written exam will have two papers. Paper 1 is of General Ability and Intelligence test and paper 2 is of General Studies, Essay and Comprehension. Shortlisted candidates in written exam will have to appear for Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests. PST/PET and medical standards test will be conducted under the supervision of a Nodal Authority to be appointed by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The qualified candidates will have to appear for Interview/Personality Test which comprises of 150 marks. On the basis of interview candidates will be shortlisted for final recruitment which will be done on the basis of final merit list.
