RPF Recruitment 2018 – Railway Protection Force has released the category-wise final cut off of RPF Constable 2018 examination on August 11. The final merit list of RPF Constable for group C and D was also released on August 11, 2019. RPF Constable result 2018 final merit list has been published in the form of PDF. Earlier, the authority had released the final result of RPF Group A, B, and F on July 15, 2019. The authority had published the answer key of RPF Constable for Group A, B and F on February 15, 2019. The answer key of RPF SI recruitment of Group A, B, C and D was released on February 6, for all regions. Earlier, the RPF recruitment answer key of Group E was released. Candidates can download the RPF answer key by entering their roll number, date of birth, date of examination, and selecting the batch. The computer based test of RPF started from December 19, 2018. The test for the post of SI is over while for Constable, the RPF Constable exam was held till February 19.

The paper was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. The admit card of RPF recruitment is being issued as per the dates of CBT. Approximately 73 lakh candidates are appearing for the exam. According to RPF exam pattern, the computer based test has questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Candidates are given 90 minutes to answer 120 questions. Total marks allotted for the test is 120. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV) based on the result of CBT.

RPF recruitment is being held to select candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector and Constable in Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). RPF Admit Card 2018

The admit card of RPF recruitment 2018 is issued to candidates 10 days before the exam – CBT/PET/PMT/Document verification. Therefore, admit card for Computer Based Test is issued from December 9. Candidates have to download RPF 2018 admit card online by entering the credentials. The admit card include details like name, date, time and address of exam centres. Candidates must carry one photograph as well as photo-identity proof along with RPF admit card.

RPF Exam Pattern 2018

The exam pattern of RPF recruitment 2018 provides details like marking scheme, number of papers, time duration, qualifying marks and number of question. According to RPF 2018 exam pattern, the standard of the examination will be of Class 10 level. Questions in the CBT will be asked from General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning. There will be a total of 120 questions that candidates have to answer within 90 minutes. Total marks of the test are 120. Candidates can choose any of the languages for appearing in CBT from Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oriya, Punjabi Assamese, and Manipuri. For correct answer candidates will score 1 mark while 1/3 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. PET/PMT is qualifying in nature and no marks will be awarded to candidates. RPF Answer Key 2018

The answer key of RPF recruitment 2018 is available now. RPF answer key is available online. Using the answer key, candidates can check correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. They can also calculate the probable score based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. Candidates can challenge the answer key if they are not satisfied with the answers within the dates prescribed by the conducting authority.

RPF Result 2018

RPF result is made available online. To check the result, candidates either have to login with the required credentials or the roll numbers will be made available in a PDF file. A merit list will be prepared based on candidate’s marks in CBT. On the basis of the merit list candidates are called for PMT and PET. Though PMT and PET is qualifying in nature, it is mandatory to clear this stage. Based on the performance of candidates in CBT, PET and PMT, they will be called for DV. RPF recruitment final result is announced based on a candidate’s performance in the selection rounds. RPF result is announced separately for different phases – CBT, PET and PMT and DV.

RPF Cutoff 2018

The cutoff of RPF recruitment is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to score to get selected for the next round of selection process i.e PET/PMT. The examination authority has announced the qualifying cutoff for CBT as per categories. The qualifying marks for the CBT is 35% for general and OBC category while it is 30% for SC and ST. Apart from this, the conducting authority also decides the overall cutoff for the merit list. The overall cutoff is decided out of the total marks, based on factors like the number of appeared candidates, the difficulty level of exam and number of vacancies. Only the candidates who secure both the cutoffs will be selected for the further stages of selection. RPF recruitment cutoff will be available as per regions, posts and categories.

RPF Selection Procedure 2018

The selection procedure of RPF recruitment 2018 will be carried out in three phases. First, candidates have to appear for CBT. Second, candidates qualifying the CBT will appear in PET and PMT. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies as per category will be called for PET and PMT. Third, based on candidate’s performance in CBT, PET and PMT, they will be called for document verification. Candidates selected for document verification have to undergo medical tests. Appointment of selected candidates is subjected to their satisfying the medical fitness test. Selected candidates will have to undergo training at RPF/RPSF centres. Passing the final examination at the end of training is mandatory for appointment to the force.

The examination authority, Indian Railway, has prescribed the eligibility criteria of RPF recruitment 2018 detailing the parameters like age, nationality and educational qualification. Candidates to be eligible for the recruitment process of RPF have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam conducting authority, RRBs.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of constable must have passed SSLC/matric or equivalent qualification. Those applying for Sub-Inspectors posts must be graduate. RPF Application Form 2018

The application form of RPF recruitment 2018 has been released on June 1. Candidates could fill RPF 2018 application form till June 30. Only online applications were accepted for the recruitment process. Fee for the recruitment exam was Rs. 500 for general and OBC male candidates which could be paid both online and offline. SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, female, minorities, economically backward class candidates had to pay Rs. 250 at the time of application which would be refunded after deducting the bank charges after candidates appear in the CBT. Candidates could edit the details in RPF application form after final submission on payment of Rs 250. Except state, email ID and mobile number, candidates could edit other details in RPF/RPSF application form. Changes were permitted only for twice.
