CAPF Application form 2020

Union Public service commission will release the application form of CAPF 2020 on April 22 in online mode. Candidates can fill CAPF 2020 application form till May 12. Before filling the registration form applicants have to check the detailed eligibility criteria so that CAPF application form 2020 can be filled without any hassle.

The CAPF registration form can be filled in two parts – part 1 and 2 by visiting the website. In part 1, candidates have to fill their basic details like their name, father’s name, educational qualification etc. while in part 2 of CAPF 2020 registration form, candidates must pay the requisite CAPF application fees, and need to upload photograph & signature followed by submitting of the application form. General and OBC candidates must pay Rs. 200 for the application fee while female SC/ST are exempted from fee payment.

How to Apply for UPSC CAPF Exam 2020?

Candidates should follow the below mentioned steps to apply for the exam.

Step 1: In order to apply for the CAPF exam 2020, applicants should visit the official website of UPSC-

Step 2: Click on the 'CAPF Apply Online' tab.

Step 3: Fill all the basic details on CAPF registration form part I.

Step 4: Now fill Part II and also pay the application fee.

Step 5: Submit the form and save the file for future reference.

CAPF Application Fee

Along with the personal details and required documents, candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- in online mode. Females and the candidates belonging to SC and ST category are exempted from fee payment.

CAPF Exam Centre 2020

The Commission will conduct the written exam of CAPF across 41 cities in India. Candidates while applying for the application form must select the exam centres as per their preferences. To select the preferred CAPF test city, candidates must apply online early as there will be a ceiling on the number of aspirants allotted to each of the centres, except a few i.e Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. The final allotment of CAPF exam centres will be done on the basis of first-come-first-serve, and once the capacity of a particular centre will be obtained, the centre will be frozen.

CAPF Admit Card 2020

The exam authorities will release the admit card of UPSC CAPF 2020 three week before the exam date. It is expected that the hall ticket will be released in the third week of July 2020. Candidates will need their registration details to download the CAPF 2020 admit card. UPSC will release the CAPF admit card 2020 online only.

CAPF Exam Pattern 2020

UPSC also prescribes the exam pattern of CAPF in notification only. The exam pattern provides details like the total number of questions, time duration, marking scheme, negative marking and number of sections. As per the exam pattern, CAPF 2020 written exam consists of two papers.

Paper 1 of CAPF will be of General ability and intelligence while paper 2 will be of general studies, essay and comprehension based questions. Shortlisted candidates in CAPF written exam will be further invited for Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests followed by Interview/ Personality tests.

The exam conducting authorities along with prescribing the exam pattern also prescribes the syllabus of CAPF in notification only. CAPF syllabus comprises the topics like current events, General Science, General Mental ability for paper 1 (General Ability and Intelligence). CAPF Answer key 2020

Many coaching institutes will release the answer key of CAPF 2020 in online mode after the commencement of exam. The answer key will be released set wise for all sets and for both paper 1 and 2. After checking the answer key applicants can predict their chances of qualifying the exam. Though UPSC will release CAPF final answer key after the declaration of final result. It is to be noted that applicants can not challenge the answer key of CAPF hence the answer key will be final.

CAPF Result 2020

The Commission will declare the result of the written exam will be released tentatively by October 10, 2020. The result of CAPF will be released in a pdf file which comprises the roll number of successful candidates. Candidates will have to download the result pdf and check their roll number. Candidates who qualify the written exam will be eligible to appear for the PST/PET exam which will be the second stage of the selection process. Candidates further who qualify the Medical Standards Tests will be called for Interview/Personality Test. The final merit list of CAPF 2020 will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and Interview/Personality Test.

CAPF Cut off 2020

Candidates should note that CAPF official cut off is determined by UPSC. Candidates who appear for CAPF exam will have to secure minimum qualifying marks to be eligible to appear for the next round of selection process.CAPF cut off 2020 will be released in two parts - part 1 will be for the written examination (paper 1 & paper 2) while part 2 will be for combined written exam and interview. CAPF 2020 Selection Process

Applicants should note that the selection process of CAPF includes three stages - written exam, PET/PST and Medical examination and Interview/Personality Test. Shortlisted candidates in the written exam will have to appear for Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests (PET/PST) and Medical Standards Tests. PST/PET and medical standards tests will be conducted under the supervision of the Nodal Authorities, appointed by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The qualified candidates will have to appear for the Interview/Personality Test. On the basis of interview candidates will be finally shortlisted for the final merit list.
