About SSC GD Constable 2024

Staff Selection Commission will release the result of the SSC GD exam soon on their official website ssc.gov.in - previously, the commission released the SSC GD Constable 2024 answer key on April 3 on the official website. Candidates were able to raise objections to the answer key of SSC GD Constable exam from April 3 to 10, 2024. The commission reconducted the SSC GD Constable exam 2024 CBT on March 30, 2024, for candidates who faced specific technical reasons in certain venues.

The SSC GD exam 2024 CBT was held on February 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 and March 1, 5, 6, 7, 2024. The commission released the SSC GD Constable 2024 admit card online from February 10, 2024 onwards on the respective regional official website. The SSC closed the SSC GD Constable 2024 application form correction window on January 6, 2024. The last date to complete the registration for SSC GD Constable exam 2024 was December 31, 2023. Along with the official notification, the SSC GD exam dates were also released at ssc.nic.in. Class 10th candidates between 18 to 23 years old are eligible to apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024. Those who submit the application form successfully will be issued an SSC GD admit card for the CBT exam.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts SSC GD Constable exam for recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force (BSF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Rifleman in Assam Rifles, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). There are three exam stages for the selection process - Written exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), and Medical examination.

Candidates appearing for SSC GD Constable exam must have passed class 10 th or Matriculation from recognized university/ board.

Age Limit

As per SSC GD Constable eligibility criteria candidates must be 18 to 23 years. However, after a relaxation of three years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than January 2, 1997.

The date of birth should be the same as mentioned in the secondary examination certificate/ matriculation.

Note: Due to the unprecedented ‘Covid Pandemic’, it has been decided by the Government to grant three years of age relaxation beyond the respective prescribed upper age limit for all categories of candidates as a one-time measure for this recruitment.

The application form correction window of SSC GD Constable was closed online on the official website on January 6, 2024. The last date to submit the SSC GD application form 2024 was December 31, 2023. Candidates had to fill the details of Aadhar card in the online application form.

For the candidates who do not have an Aadhar card can fill the details of any  ID numbers of PAN, Voter Card, Passport, School/College ID, Driving License, Employer ID or left thumb impression. The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 100 while ST/SC and female candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Steps to fill SSC GD Constable Application Form

The application form of SSC GD Constable is filled in 2 parts – Part 1 and Part 2.

Part 1 - Registration

In part 1 of registration, candidates have to fill the basic details like name, date of birth, father’s name etc. and click on “I Agree” button to proceed further. The registration number is generated after final submission of part 1 registration which the candidates’ must note down.

Part 2 – Registration

To proceed further for Part 2 registration of SSC GD Constable application form, candidates need to register through a registration ID and password. Candidates have to upload the signature and photograph and pay the requisite application fee. It is always advised to keep a copy of application form printout for further references.

  • Email ID (User ID of the candidate will be his/her email ID provided at the time of registration)

  • Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrollment Number

The exam of SSC GD Constable is different for all three stages. SSC GD Constable computer-based examination comprises of multiple choice questions. The CBT has four sections - General Knowledge and General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, English/Hindi and Elementary Mathematics. Each paper carries 20 questions carrying 40 marks.

The Staff Selection Commission has started issuing the SSC GD Constable 2024 admit card from February 10, 2024 onwards at its regional official website. The admit card of SSC GD Constable is issued stage-wise. To download the admit card, candidates have to enter the Candidate name and date of birth or roll number/registration.

Candidates who successfully fill the application form have been issued the admit card for computer-based examination. The admit card for PST/PET will be issued to the candidates who qualify the CBT  whereas the admit card for medical examination will be issued only to those candidates who qualify PST/PET.

The Staff Selection Commission closed the correction window for the answer key on April 10, 2024. The SSC GD Constable 2024 answer key was released on April 3, 2024 in online at ssc.gov.in. The answer key of SSC GD Constable 2024 is released in two parts - provisional and final. The commission also released the response sheet of the candidates so that candidates can check their answers.

The Staff Selection Commission will declare the SSC GD Constable 2024 result for CBT online at ssc.gov.in. The SSC GD Constable 2024 result can be downloaded till the prescribed last date. The result of the written exam is declared for the candidates who have secure above or equal marks released by the commission. Secondly, the result of PST, PET is released for the candidates who have who qualify the PST  and PET.

The final result is announced after medical examination. On the basis of SSC GD Constable result of CBE, candidates are called for PST/PET. PET/PST and medical examination are qualifying in nature. The final result along with force allocation is declared by SSC based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination. Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Detailed Medical Examination

The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks a candidate must obtain to qualify the exam. SSC GD Constable cut off of written exam and final is released separately by the commission. To be eligible to appear for next stage of selection process, candidates must score equal to or above the cut off released by the commission.

Hope you are doing great ! Yes no problem if you are a sc Candidate of 168 cm with ncc certificate then you can qualify for pst but some problem can be occur because 170 cm height is required so you must do something for that too .

Sorry to say you but you have not mentioned about which examination you are talking about. There can be lots of examination centres for different different kinds of examinations not only in Shimoga, but also for each and every city and town. But if you are talking about CA entrance then as per my knowledge the examination centre can be Acharya Tulsi National College of commerce. However you also can find your examination centre name in in your specified admit card. Hope this will help you . You also can comment down below about which examination you are talking about.

24 Views I recently applied for SSC GD and I have done mistake on roll no (just 4 digit) and form is finally submitted. How can I edit it now? It is possible

For SSC GD there are no correction window available. So you can't edit the details once you have submitted fully. You can appear for the examination, but during document verification (laterwards) there can be problem due to the discrepancy in the roll number.

For a last try you can contact the regional office i.e., if you are from Westbengal then it would be Eastern Region. If there are any procedures to change it then the officials may guide you out. Although this possibility is very less.
