Hi,

Reserve Bank of India conducts recruitment exam for the post of Assistant in RBIs. The exam is conducted for around 623 posts of Assistant in various offices of the Bank.

Till now, the authority has not released any notification regarding RBI Assistant 2018. The exam will be conducted in two phases – preliminary and mains exam followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The application form is expected to be released in October 2018 along with the notification. The exam is conducted in various shifts in different locations across India. The prelims exam is expected to be held in the last week of November 2018.

Hi,

Till now no new notification has released regarding RBI Assistant exam.

As per last year, candidates must be in between 20 and 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/10/1989 and not later than 01/10/1997 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.

A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.

Candidates applying for the post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office.

No you cannot change or choose the exam date or slot of exam as it is fixed. The exam is on December 20th for Online test.

when will be rbi conducts their exam?

Hi, 

Reserve Bank of India has not yet released any information regarding RBI Assistant. However, the authority has released the Officer Grade B 2018 notification.

RBI Officer Grade 'B' (DR) General, DEPR, and DSIM is scheduled to be held on August 16 for phase I. Phase II exam for Officer Grade B (DR) for General will be conducted on September 7 whereas phase II exam for Officer Grade B (DR) for DEPR and DSIM is to be conducted on September 6 and 7.

The examination for RBI Officers Grade B 2018 will be conducted in three phases - I and II followed by Interview. Candidates must appear in both the papers. The total number of vacancies for RBI Officer Grade B is 166. 

The application form of Officer Grade 'B' (DR) for General, DEPR and DSIM was available from July 3 to 23.

Anisha: Preparation takes time. You can only finish the coaching program in 3 to 4 months. But after that speed building is mandatory. You need to practice a lot. Ther'll be a lot many errors, you need to rectify them.

@Shubhi: These are few: Punjab National Bank. Bank of Baroda. Oriental Bank of Commerce. Allahabad Bank. IDBI Bank. Punjab & Sind Bank. Canara Bank. Also if you have any specific location then the branches can be more specific.
